摘要： In a switch having first and second contacts, a first contacting portion of the first contact is movable in a first direction alone while a second contacting portion of the second contact is movable only in a second direction intersecting with the first direction. The first contacting portion is supported by a first spring portion. The second contacting portion is supported by a second spring portion and faced to the first contacting portion in the first direction to be brought into contact with the first contacting portion with the second spring portion being bent. The first and the second contacting portions are in a mutual relationship such that, when the first contacting portion is press-contacted by the second contacting portion in the first direction, the second contacting portion is applied with component force in the second direction.

The connector body has a receiving portion for maintaining the locking portion at the first position where the ejecting member is located at a specific position.

The eject mechanism is for executing an ejecting operation of ejecting the card from the housing. The card connector is provided with a retarding mechanism which cooperates with the eject mechanism to retard the ejecting operation. The retarding mechanism may include a braking mechanism for braking the card in response to an operation of the eject mechanism. Alternatively, the braking mechanism may be for braking an eject bar which is included in the eject mechanism and movable along the housing for ejecting the card.

摘要： A housing (1) is provided with an eject lever (3) for ejecting a card (10). The eject lever holds a locking member (4) to be swingable around a support shaft (13). The housing is provided with a cam portion (7).
