    • In a switch having first and second contacts, a first contacting portion of the first contact is movable in a first direction alone while a second contacting portion of the second contact is movable only in a second direction intersecting with the first direction. The first contacting portion is supported by a first spring portion. The second contacting portion is supported by a second spring portion and faced to the first contacting portion in the first direction to be brought into contact with the first contacting portion with the second spring portion being bent. The first and the second contacting portions are in a mutual relationship such that, when the first contacting portion is press-contacted by the second contacting portion in the first direction, the second contacting portion is applied with component force in the second direction.

    • For connecting a card, a card connector includes a connector body for receiving the card and an ejecting mechanism adapted to eject the card. The ejecting mechanism includes an ejecting member to be moved together with the card and a cam coupled to the connector body for controlling movement of the ejecting member. The ejecting member includes an ejecting member body guided by the connector body, a cam follower connected to the ejecting member body and guided by the cam, and a locking portion connected to the ejecting member body and displaceable between a first position where movement of the card is locked and a second position where movement of the card is unlocked. The connector body has a receiving portion for maintaining the locking portion at the first position where the ejecting member is located at a specific position.

    • A card socket 100 comprises a slider 40 and a rocker arm 60. The slider 40 is slidable in a card insertion/ejection direction. The rocker arm 60 comprises a fulcrum 61a, a first pressed portion 62 and a second pressed portion 64. The fulcrum 61a is provided between the first pressed portion 62 and the second pressed portion 64. When a first force is provided to the first pressed portion 62, the rocker arm 60 slides toward the slider 40 and prevents the slider 40 from sliding in the card ejection direction. When a second force is provided to the second pressed portion 64, the rocker arm 60 releases the slider 40d. Then, the slider 40 slides in the card ejection direction.

    • A card connector for connecting an electronic card with an electronic device is disclosed. The connector comprises a base member and a metal cover (10), which define a receptacle for receiving at least partially the electronic card therein. The connector further comprises an ejection mechanism for ejecting the electronic card, at least in part, from the receptacle. The ejector mechanism comprises: a cam portion (60) which provides a cam path; a cam follower (50); and a resilient supporter (40) which supporter supports the cam follower (50) to allow the cam follower (50) to travel along the cam path. The ejection mechanism is formed integrally with the metal cover (10). Instead, the cam portion (60) may be formed integrally with the base member.
