    • A method and system for measuring pressure in a pressure regulation unit of a motor vehicle braking system, without using pressure sensors and having a motor pump unit with an electric motor and a hydraulic pump. The steps include producing a relative motor characteristic diagram for a series of the units. The diagram includes the data of motor-rotational-speed-dependent parameters, intensity of the motor actuation, and parameters relating to the level of the motor load. Further steps include; determining individual motor characteristic variables, determining a current rotational-speed-dependent parameter of an individual motor during the operation of the pump, and calculating a pressure which is characteristic of the braking system, by means of the diagram parameter of the individual motor and the value of the current motor actuation which determines the intensity of the motor actuation, wherein the individual motor characteristic variables are taken into account.

    • A multi-part electrical/electronics enclosure that may be used for in-wall installation of intercom, home audio, lighting and other similar system components. The enclosure includes two major components including a back box and a frame. The frame acts as a structural member for both, electronic components internal to the back box as well as user-facing input/output electronic devices such as a keypad and/or display. The frame is preferably formed from aluminum to act as a heat sink, and has front facing standoffs. The standoffs ensure an air gap is maintained between the frame and a front bezel, to allow for airflow and hence cooling by convection.

    • A command post radio provides for more reliable radio communications between two or more locations using handie talkies by incorporating in the use of a command post radio. In one embodiment, a firefighter on a fire floor of a building can use a handie talkie to send a signal to a post radio on a floor below the fire floor. The post radio can boost and transmit the signal to a mobile radio and Cross Band repeater in a Battalion car where the signal is then transmitted to a handie talkie carried by the Battalion Chief in the lobby of the building. The Battalion Chief can respond to the firefighter on the fire floor via the same path. In addition to use by fire departments, the post radio can be used by different groups for different operations.
