    • A heater exchanger used to condense a refrigerant in a refrigeration system. The heat exchanger is designed to perform a heat exchanging operation by the use of latent heat of water vaporization, thus having improved heat exchanging efficiency as well as a reduced size. The heat exchanger includes an upper header having a refrigerant inlet port and distributing a refrigerant introduced into the upper header through the refrigerant inlet port, a plurality of heat exchanging tubes connected at upper ends thereof to the upper header and extending in a vertical direction, a lower header connected to lower ends of the heat exchanging tubes and gathering the refrigerant flowing from the heat exchanging tubes, with a refrigerant outlet port formed in the lower header, and a water supply unit assembled with upper portions of external surfaces of the heat exchanging tubes, and feeding water to the tubes to cause water to flow along the external surfaces of the tubes. The water supply unit is a channeled body with the heat exchanging tubes perpendicularly passing the channeled body. The interior of the water supply unit is partitioned into a pressure regulating chamber and a water supply chamber by a partition wall having a plurality of pressure regulating holes. The pressure regulating chamber receives water from the outside, while the water supplying chamber feeds water to the heat exchanging tubes to cause water to flow along the external surfaces of the heat exchanging tubes. A plurality of lower holes are formed at a lower portion of the water supply unit to allow the heat exchanging tubes to perpendicularly pass the water supply unit through the lower holes. Each of the lower holes has a size larger than a cross-sectional size of each of the heat exchanging tubes.

    • An air purifier has a simply manufactured and assembled ionizer, which increases the charging efficiency for dust particles through maximally increased discharge spaces and prevents electrical accidents. The air purifier includes an ionizer and a collector. The ionizer includes two ground electrode units and at least one discharge electrode, the two ground electrode units each having one or more electrodes, each formed in a hollow semi-cylindrical shape, the two ground electrode units being joined to face each other, the at least one discharge electrode being placed in spaces formed between the hollow semi-cylindrically shaped electrodes of the joined ground electrode units, thus charging dust particles passing through the spaces between the hollow semi-cylindrically shaped electrodes. The collector is electrically charged with a polarity opposite to a polarity of the charged dust particles.

    • The present invention relates to a heat exchanger of an air conditioner having a plurality of flat fins, each arranged in parallel at a predetermined interval to allow fluid to flow thereamong and a plurality of heat transfer pipes insertedly arranged in perpendicular patterns to the plurality of the flat fins to allow the fluid to internally flow, the heat exchanger comprising a plurality of louvered grid groups symmetrically opened in a forward and a reverse flowing direction of air current and radially disposed to encompass an upper and a lower side of the heat transfer pipes, so that the air current flowing though the plurality of flat fins can become turbulent and mixed around the heat transfer pipes to thereby reduce a cavitation region generating at the back of the plurality of heat transfer pipes and concurrently to increase a heat transfer efficiency, the heat exchanger further having an advantage in that a bead part is bent toward an inner side of the flat fin so as to be centrally and perpendicularly positioned at the louvered grid groups against the upper and lower sides of heat transfer pipes, so that superficial area of the flat fin can be enlarged and concentrated water (by way of example, dew) generated by temperature difference between the refrigerant flowing in the heat transfer pipes and the air current flowing through the flat fins can be smoothly drained out when the beat exchanger is used as an evaporator for cooling or as a concentrator.

    • An air purifier provides various air purification functions relating to various environmental conditions by increasing a purification function relative to specific contaminants through replacement of a filter based on the environment to be purified. The air purifier includes a main body of a structure allowing air to pass therethrough. A replaceable filter is received into the main body and is replaceable on a basis of the environmental properties of a space to be purified, removing contaminants in the air passing through the main body. Further, the air purifier includes a dust collecting unit to charge dust particles electrically and to collect the dust particles by electrostatic attraction. In addition, a metal filter functions to collect the dust particles charged in the dust collecting unit, and a HEPA filter is used to collect micro-contaminants. The metal filter is positioned in front of the HEPA filter.
