    • The waste disposal service panel assembly includes a housing, waste drain valve, rinse/fill valve, handle assembly and service panel door. The housing has a tubular side wall and a base near one end of the side wall. The waste drain valve is at least partially mounted within the housing through the base. The waste drain valve includes an outlet positioned within the housing and an inlet configured to couple to a waste collection tank within a aircraft. The service panel door is pivotally coupled to the housing near an end of the side wall remote from the base. The service panel door has an outer surface configured to substantially match an outer contour of the aircraft's skin, and an outer cap coupled to an inner surface of the service panel door. The outer cap is configured and dimensioned to mate with the outlet to seal the outlet when the service panel door is closed.

    • A system that tunes search results is presented. During operation, the system receives content to be searched. The system then iteratively performs the following operations until search results meet specified criteria. The system generates an index of the content based on a set of configuration parameters. Next, the system performs a search against the index to produce the search results. The system then determines whether the search results meet the specified criteria. If the search results do not meet the specified criteria, the system modifies one or more of: the set of configuration parameters; and the content. If the search results meet the specified criteria, the system saves the set of configuration parameters into a configuration file which can be used to generate the index for the content.

    • An apparatus and method for measuring, collecting, and processing the temperatures of a number of hot junctions in a thermocouple sensor array simultaneously comprises means for measuring the temperature of one or more reference junctions and means for collecting, processing, storing, and transmitting data collected from an array of thermocouple temperature sensors. The measured temperature(s) of the one or more reference junctions is used to correct the measured voltage in each of a plurality of thermocouple circuits to obtain accurate hot junction temperature measurements. The apparatus and method are particularly useful for collecting and processing temperature data from various locations within engines such as turbine, rocket, and internal combustion engines.

    • The invention comprises a method and/or an apparatus using computer configured exercise equipment and an electric motor. A computer-controlled robotic resistance system is used for training, diagnosis and/or therapy. The resistance system comprises: a subject interface, software control, a controller, an electric servo assist/resist motor, an actuator, and/or a subject sensor. The system overcomes the limitations of the existing robotic rehabilitation, weight training, and cardiovascular training systems by providing a training and/or rehabilitation system that adapts a resistance or force applied to a user interactive element in response to the user's interaction with the training system, a physiological strength curve, and/or sensor feedback.
