摘要： A method of assembling a dynamoelectric machine. The dynamoelectric machine includes at least one end frame having a hub portion extending therefrom, and a cushioning device. The cushioning device has a pair of generally annular cylindric mounts associated generally concentrically with one of the mounts having an axial length greater than that of the other of the mounts, and a resilient material is interconnected between the mounts. In practicing this method, a part of the one mount is mounted in engagement about the hub, and thereby the other mount is disposed in a preselected position axially beyond the hub portion of the at least one end frame.

摘要： A cushioning device for a dynamoelectric machine has a pair of generally annular cylindric mounts arranged generally concentrically with each other, and each mount has a pair of opposite end portions defining the axial length thereof, with the axial length of one of the mounts being predeterminately greater than that of the other of the mounts. A resilient material is interconnected between the mounts, and the resilient material extends from at least adjacent one of the opposite end portions of the mounts generally axially beyond the other of the opposite end portions of the other mount toward the other of the opposite end portions of the one mount. A dynamoelectric machine is also disclosed.

摘要： An interior permanent magnet machine is described. The machine includes a rotor rotatable about a central machine axis. The rotor includes a plurality of permanent magnet openings and a plurality of permanent magnets disposed therein. The permanent magnet openings are separated by rotor webs configured to facilitate reducing leakage flux through the rotor webs. The machine also includes a stator disposed coaxially with the rotor and separated from the rotor by a circumferential air gap. The stator includes a plurality of stator teeth that define a plurality of stator slots therebetween. The stator teeth include a stator tooth tip configured to facilitate reducing cogging torque and torque ripple.

摘要： A fan assembly includes a vibration damping system to reduce induced vibrational energy generated as a result of fan motor operation. The vibration damping system includes a plurality of arms and damping material. The vibration damping system arms extend between a fan motor housing and a shroud assembly disposed circumferentially outward from the fan motor housing. The damping material is attached to an end of each of the vibration damping system arms and connects each arm to the shroud assembly. The damping material absorbs induced vibrational energy generated by fan motor operation.
