    • A pretensioned spring track tensioning system provides a two stage loading of a tension roller on the interior of a vehicle drive track. The two stage loading first loads the track under a lower tension load for normal operation, but when the track is highly loaded, such as when digging, or when debris is forced between the track member and its drive sprocket or guide rollers, the compression of the lighter spring will be stopped mechanically and a second heavier compression spring will provide the tension loading. The additional spring tension under unusual conditions prevents detracking of the track and buckling of the track. A lighter tension load during normal operations reduces the loads on bearings, particularly in relation to a drive motor. The tensioning system has particular adaptability to “high” drive type tracks which have a drive sprocket elevated above the tension roller.

    • A container puncturing device for efficiently and safely emptying the contents of a container into a storage tank or other structure. The container puncturing device generally includes a cross bar having a pair of tank attachment assemblies, a pair of bucket attachment assemblies and a puncturing member secured thereto. The bucket attachment assemblies are adapted to allow the present invention to be lifted and moved by a loader bucket such as one attached to a skid steer loader. The tank attachment assemblies are utilized to secure the present invention to the upper end of a tank. When a container is lowered onto the puncturing member, any particulate materials stored therein will be dispensed into the tank through the punctured opening. The present invention may then be lifted off and away from the tank through use of the bucket attachment assemblies and a loader bucket.

    • The present invention is a vehicle-mounted trommel screening apparatus. A rotating trommel screen cage having an open front and a closed back is mounted on the vehicle so that the open front of the trommel screen cage is at a side of the vehicle and is adjustably tiltable about the vehicle side while the cage rotates. A conveyor is mounted below the trommel screen cage to convey material rearwardly off the end of the trailer. A push plate folds down below the trommel to assist in loading material that has been discharged from the front. Axially extending gussets within the cage provide additional lifting and tumbling action. Material is dumped into the trommel screen cage with the cage tilted back from the open end. The rotation of the cage causes a tumbling action which simultaneously breaks up larger pieces of material and screens smaller material to the conveyor below the screen. Material retained in the trommel screen may be dumped by tilting the trommel screen cage forward toward the open end. Alternatively, as sufficient material is received in the cage larger pieces of the material will automatically fall out of the open front. The tilt angle and rotation speed may be instantaneously and variably adjusted for optimal operational.

    • A bucket mixing system to aid in mixing a stabilizing agent with a material within an excavator-mounted bucket. The bucket mixing system generally includes a bucket which includes a built-in mixer adapted to mix materials and expel them through a plurality of vents within the lower surface of the bucket. A hydraulic motor is secured to the bucket which drives a drive assembly. The drive assembly is secured so as to rotate a central rod from which a plurality of anchors and mixers extend radially. Auger linkages are interwoven through the anchors and mixers to form a flexible auger configuration. The mixers may rotated bi-directionally to mix materials within the bucket and to expel mixed materials through the vents.

    • A bucket mounting system for efficiently attaching and removing a bucket attachment to a variety of different vehicles. The bucket mounting system generally includes a bucket configured with a pair of mounting bars extending parallel with respect to each other across the rear surface of the bucket.     • The present invention is a barrel screen apparatus comprising an elongate, hollow, cylindrical and rotatable barrel screen cage having a receiving end and a discharge end. A hopper is positioned adjacent to the receiving end of the barrel screen cage and has a pair of augers to convey the material and regulate the rate of feed into the feed end of the barrel screen cage. A concave plate is attached to the support frame and positioned directly below and along the length of the barrel screen cage to catch the screened material through the cage. Spiral flighting is attached to the external periphery of the barrel screen cage to convey the material forwardly on the concave plate towards the front of the apparatus where stripper bars, mounted longitudinally on the periphery, push the material off the side of the apparatus. The material accumulates adjacent to a fold-down apron on the side of the apparatus which facilitates pickup by a front-end loader or other means.
