摘要： A portable adjustable rail barricade for working on a roof generally comprising a plurality of removably supported rail members pivotally attached to a base member adapted for releasable engagement upon the surface of a roof. The pivotal nature of the rail member attachment allows the rail barricade to be substantially vertically oriented upon various roofs with widely ranging roof pitches. Additionally, a toe rail is provided at a distance away from the pivotal attachment of the rail members for preventing objects from falling from the roof. Because the toe rail is at a distance away from the pivotal attachment of the rail members, there is formed an extended base for the adjustable rail barricade, serving to increase the barricade's efficacy toward providing a secure barrier against falls.
