The disinfectant active ingredient containing composition can include a compatiblizing amount of a long chain organic acid having a carbon chain of at least 8 carbon atoms to help compatibize the disinfectant active ingredient with the hydrophobic polymer/hydrophilic polymer adduct. Methods of using and manufacturing the disinfectant active ingredient containing composition are provided.
