    • A ferrofluidic electromagnetic power supply firmly attached to an agitating object, such as the interior of a vehicular tire generates electric current in an electrical coil deposited between and firmly attached to an hermetically sealed housing made of non-magnetic material partially filled with ferrofluid and a permanent magnet axially polarized. The ferrofluid and the permanent magnet form a magnetic circuit extending from the ferrofluid through the coil to the permanent magnet and back to the ferrofluid. Agitation of the power supply will cause dislocation of the magnetized ferrofluid within the sealed housing causing induction in the electrical coil.

    • A ferrofluidic electrical power generator installed within an agitating object, such as the interior of a vehicular tire generates electrical current in an electrical winding wound about an elongated permanent magnet. The winding is surrounded by sealed container made of non-magnetic material, partially filled with magnetized ferrofluid. The permanent magnet and the magnetized ferrofluid form a magnetic circuit surrounded by the electrical winding. Rotation and horizontal velocity of the tire will agitate the magnetized ferrofluid within the sealed container causing cyclic variations in the distribution of the magnetized ferrofluid causing variation in the magnetic flux density, thus, induction in the electrical winding.

    • A shaft angular position sensor having a DC output voltage has a magnetic housing into which are mounted a Hall effect device, a bobbin-winding assembly and a rotor. The bobbin-winding assembly is a hollow cylindrical coil form made of non-magnetic material about which are wound two excitation coils connected in series opposition. An elongated magnetic core is disposed for rotation within the hollow bobbin. The core is an axial section of a magnetic cylinder which serves to direct two opposing DC magnetic flux flows through the Hall effect device. The output voltage generated by the Hall effect device is indicative of the angular position of the magnetic core relative to the bobbin winding assembly when a DC voltage is applied to the coils.

    • A Rotary Variable Differential Transformer, having a short axial length, small diameter, and a wide angle, linear output range, is provided. The Rotary Variable Differential Transformer (RVDT) comprised of a housing, a hollow cylindrical coil form made of non-magnetic, non-conductive material, about which a first and second secondary coils, adjacent to each other, are circumferentially wound. A primary coil is circumferentially wound about a segment of said first secondary coil, and about a segment of said second secondary coil. An elongated ferromagnetic core is disposed within the hollow coil form. The core is an axial section of a ferromagnetic cylinder which serves to couple said primary coil to said secondary coils. The output voltage measured across said secondary coils terminals is indicative of the angular position of said ferromagnetic core relative to the coil form assembly.
