    • A developer storage device and an image forming apparatus having the same include a developer storage part including a first storage part and a second storage part having widths different from each other, and a first developer conveying member to convey a developer stored in the first storage part to the second storage part in a diagonal direction. The first developer conveying member includes conveying elements extended slantingly with respect to a width direction of the developer storage part. An angle between the conveying elements and the width direction of the developer storage part is determined depending on relative positions of the first storage part and the second storage part. Accordingly, the developer storage device can effectively convey a developer by designing the developer conveying member adequately for an overall shape or structure of the developer storage device.

    • Disclosed is a cam follower of which the structure is improved such that the limit load can be increased. The cam follower is one which moves relative to a cam, mediated by a liquid lubricant, wherein a plurality of recesses are provided on the contact surface of the cam follower which makes contact with the cam, and the depth of the plurality of recesses of the contact surface is between 0.005 and 0.03 mm. By providing the plurality of recesses on the contact surface of the cam follower which makes contact with the cam, the present invention makes it possible to improve the state of lubrication between the cam follower and the cam which move relative to each other mediated by the liquid lubricant and to reduce the heat and the wear which occur at the interface between the same.

    • An image forming apparatus having a mounting/demounting structure between a main body and an image carrying unit. The image forming apparatus includes a main body provided with a first electrical connecting part, an image carrying unit removably mounted in the main body and provided with a second electrical connecting part, and a guide device to guide the image carrying unit in an insertion direction and a lateral direction so that the second electrical connecting part of the image carrying unit is connected to the first electrical connecting part of the main body. Accordingly, interference between the image carrying unit and an inner side surface of the main body is decreased, and mounting performance is enhanced.
