    • A radiation detector module includes a radiation detecting substrate including a plurality of semiconductor devices mounted thereon for detecting radiation, a fixing member for holding the radiation detecting substrate, and a circuit substrate connected to the radiation detecting substrate. The radiation detecting substrate further includes a mounting board including an edge portion connected to the circuit substrate at one end thereof, and a flexible substrate including a wiring pattern connected to the plurality of semiconductor devices. The fixing member includes a bottom, a first side wall extending in a normal direction to the bottom from one end of the bottom, a second side wall extending in the normal direction to the bottom from the other end of the bottom, and substrate supporting portions on the first side wall and the second side wall.

    • A PET apparatus comprises a plurality of detector units in the circumferential direction, wherein the detector unit includes a plurality of unit substrates therein, and wherein the unit substrate includes: a plurality of detectors upon which a γ-ray is incident; and an analog ASIC and digital ASIC for processing a γ-ray detection signal outputted by each of the detectors. The analog ASIC includes two slow systems having mutually different time constants, each of which outputs a pulseheight value. A noise determination part of the digital ASIC determines whether a relevant detection signal is an intended γ-ray detection signal or a noise based on a correlation between the pulseheight values, and a noise counting part counts the number of times of noise determination, and a detector output signal processing control part controls the signal processing with respect to an output signal from a relevant detector based on the count.

    • An antenna module and a portable communication terminal equipped with the antenna module are provided. The antenna module has a space-saving design, and also has both a capability for long communication distance for a tag function and a capability for wide communication range for a reader/writer function.A first antenna coil (11) for communication with a reader/writer and a second antenna coil (12) for communication with an IC tag are disposed on a base substrate (10). The first antenna coil (11) is disposed in an outermost periphery section of the base substrate (10) so that a communication distance is attained. The second antenna coil (12) is disposed within an inner periphery of the first antenna coil (11) so as to achieve overall size reduction of the module.

    • When a mover during moving is displaced in a direction (X2 direction) perpendicular to a moving direction, between a deformation pattern portion formed in stator-side electrodes of a stator and a deformation pattern portion formed in mover-side electrodes of the mover, a restoring force trying to return the mover toward a direction (X1 direction) opposite to the X2 direction acts on the mover. This makes it possible to prevent the mover from displacement, and consequently to provide an electrostatic actuator improved in the linear movability toward the moving direction.
