摘要： A systematic interferences mitigation design for protected satellite communications (SATCOM) is provided. An advanced channel coding is designed to provide coding gain for SATCOM even in the presence of synchronization errors because of unintentional and intentional radio frequency interferences (RFIs). A unified SATCOM system spectrum efficiency and energy efficiency performance model is developed with a unified interference model for SATCOM dynamic resource allocation (DRA). The SATCOM system DRA is designed with a game theoretic engine and link optimizations providing traffic control, power control, frequency hopping pattern selection, beamforming codebook selection, and modulation with coding agile waveform adaptations. The interferences mitigation design is implemented with software defined radio USRP and GNU-radio to maintain communication link quality of services (QoS).

摘要： The present disclosure provides a method for wave propagation prediction based on a 3D ray tracing engine and machine-learning based dominant ray selection. The method includes receiving, integrating, and processing input data. Integrating and processing the input data includes dividing a cone of the original millimeter wave (mmWave) into a plurality of sub cones; determining a contribution weight of rays coming from each sub cone to the received signal strength (RSS) at a receiving end of interest; and determining rays coming from one or more sub cones that have a total contribution weight to the RSS larger than a preset threshold value as dominant rays using a neural network obtained through a machine learning approach. The method further includes performing ray tracing based on the input data and the dominant rays to predict wave propagation.

摘要： The present disclosure provides a method for joint manifold learning based heterogenous sensor data fusion, comprising: obtaining learning heterogeneous sensor data from a plurality sensors to form a joint manifold, wherein the plurality sensors include different types of sensors that detect different characteristics of targeting objects; performing, using a hardware processor, a plurality of manifold learning algorithms to process the joint manifold to obtain raw manifold learning results, wherein a dimension of the manifold learning results is less than a dimension of the joint manifold; processing the raw manifold learning results to obtain intrinsic parameters of the targeting objects; evaluating the multiple manifold learning algorithms based on the raw manifold learning results and the intrinsic parameters to determine one or more optimum manifold learning algorithms; and applying the one or more optimum manifold learning algorithms to fuse heterogeneous sensor data generated by the plurality sensors.

摘要： Routing methods are provided for IP-based Iridium like LEO polar satellite constellation network for finding a Manhattan path between a source node and a destination node. The routing methods can include identification of congested inter satellite links (ISLs). By selecting and using uncongested alternative paths, an original routing process can be converted into sub-routing processes each in a small scale of a Manhattan path region. Quality of Service (QoS) requirements such as delays and jitters can be incorporated into the routing methods, which leads to efficient routing and enhanced QoS-performance over the satellite constellation network. The disclosed routing methods can be suitable for real-time routing/rerouting applications under dynamic network conditions.

摘要： A method for emulating a communication system with fast changing link condition, applied to a testbed system including an interference emulator, a transmitter, and a receiver, includes: by the transmitter, generating code-word symbols, in an initial symbol sequence, according to information bits; evaluating an interference condition and a time duration for each code-word symbol; reordering the code-word symbols to a reordered symbol sequence based on interference conditions; evaluating a total time duration of code-word symbols under each interference condition; and transmitting the code-word symbols in the reordered symbol sequence. The method also includes: by the interference emulator, obtaining the total time duration of code-word symbols under each interference condition from the transmitter; and providing an emulated interference environment by ordering the time durations of different interference conditions. The start time for transmitting code-word symbols with an interference condition is synchronized with the start time for emulating the interference condition.

The methods and systems determine whether the game problem has one Nash equilibrium, multiple Nash equilibriums, or no Nash equilibrium; checks whether the equilibrium is a mixed or pure Nash; and timely computes Nash equilibriums; and follows a fictitious play concept. The solution is adaptive and can be applied for any partially observed cyber security system.

In some embodiments, a method for transmitting data comprises: performing a marker-based data encoding process to embed a digital watermark into each of a plurality of original data flows to be transmitted to a plurality of receivers; performing a non-orthogonal multiple access process to allocate transmission powers to the plurality of original data flows, such that the plurality of original data flows are simultaneously superposed on a carrier frequency to generate a superposed signal; performing a noise modulation process to modulate the superposed signal to generate a noise-like signal and a reference noise signal; transmitting the noise-like signal and the reference noise signal through orthogonally polarized antennas; and performing a portal-based data integrity analysis process to check whether a receiver in the plurality of receivers is compromised or manipulated.

The method includes: grouping hops having a same SATCOM link set into one hop group such that the one hop group contains a plurality of same SATCOM link sets; grouping the measurement sets into one or more first measurement groups, based on a link identification; in the each first measurement group having the same link identification, further grouping the measurement sets having a same range of the signal amplitude measurements into one or more second measurement groups; obtaining interference conditions by associating second measurement groups of all links in each hop group based on hop identifications belonging to the second measurement groups.
