    • A plasma display device is disclosed. In one embodiment, the plasma display device includes a plasma display panel on which an image is displayed, a chassis base coupled to the rear side of the plasma display panel and formed of a material in which plastic and a conductive material are mixed, and at least one circuit board mounted on the rear side of the chassis base and driving the plasma display panel. According to embodiments of the present invention, a lightweight plasma display device can be manufactured, since the weight of the chassis base can be reduced by manufacturing the chassis base from a mixed material of plastic and a conductive material. Also, the grounding and EMI shielding of the circuit board or a signal transmitting member can be achieved.

    • A chassis assembly having an improved grounding performance and a plasma display apparatus including the chassis assembly are disclosed. The plasma display apparatus comprises: a plasma display panel displaying an image; a non-conductive chassis disposed on a rear portion of the plasma display panel for supporting the plasma display panel; a circuit unit disposed on a rear portion of the non-conductive chassis and including a circuit for driving the plasma display panel; and a conductive grounding member electrically connected to the circuit unit so as to provide the circuit unit with a ground potential.

    • A cover for reducing contamination in a plasma display apparatus including a frame with a printed circuit board, signal transmission cables and buffer substrates arranged on one side thereof and including a guiding portion for guiding the cables is provided. The cover may include a first portion and a second portion that may itself include a first part and a second part. When the cover is detachably attached to the frame, the first portion may extend over the buffer substrates such that the buffer substrates are arranged between the first portion of the cover and the frame, an end portion of the first part may extend toward and/or contact a surface of the frame on which the plurality of buffer substrates and the at least one printed circuit board are arranged, and an end portion of the second part may extend toward and/or contact the guiding portion of the frame.
