摘要： A method of driving a display panel includes outputting a data voltage of three-dimensional (“3D”) image data included in a left-eye data frame and a right-eye data frame to the display panel along a scanning direction of a first direction during a first period, blocking the data voltage from being provided to the display panel during a second period and outputting a black data voltage to the display panel during a third period that is less than the first period.

The timing control part includes a serializing part to serializing N data received in parallel to generate an N-th frame data, a overdriving part to select one of the N-th frame data and a previous frame data stored depending on whether the received data are normal and to compensate the selected frame data to generate a compensation frame data, and an interface part to divide the compensation frame data and to output the N compensation data. A data driving part includes N data driving circuits to generate data driving voltages corresponding to the N compensation data to output the data driving voltage to the N display areas where N is a natural number.

Power is selectively supplied to the sub-memories according to the bit size of the first image signal.
