摘要： Disclosed is an automotive coating composition comprising (i) a basal resin which is either (a) a copolymer containing a specific polysiloxane macromonomer having two or more functional groups selected from the class consisting of hydroxyl and alkoxy groups per molecule and a number average molecular weight of 400 to 100,000 and an oxirane group-containing vinyl monomer as comonomer units or (b) a mixture of a polymer (I) containing said polysiloxane macromonomer as an essential monomer unit and a polymer (II) containing an oxirane group-containing vinyl monomer as an essential monomer unit and (ii) a chelate compound selected from the class consisting of aluminum chelate compounds, titanium chelate compounds and zirconium chelate compounds.

摘要： A method for forming a multilayer paint film comprising the steps of forming an uncured film on a substrate with a cationically depositable paint on a substrate, further coating an aqueous paint on the uncured film of the electrodeposited film in a wet-on-wet manner, and then curing with heating the both films,wherein (i) the electrodeposited film of the cationically electrodepositable paint has a film weight reduction after curing with heating of 10% by weight or less; andwherein (ii) the aqueous paint is composed mainly of(a) a polyester resin optionally modified with a urethane and having an acid value within the range of 10 to 100 and a hydroxyl value within the range of 20 to 300; and(b) a water-soluble or -dispersible amino resin.

摘要： When a decoding unit 6 fails in reading bar code information, a control unit 5 writes a corresponding error code into a ring table in the storage unit 4. In an error analyzing mode, the control unit 5 causes a measurement to automatically end when the decoding unit fails to read bar code information after the same bar code information is read a preset number of times or more, when the same bar code as that previously read is read and then bar code information different from that read by the preceding reading operation is read, or when a specific read error occurs. The indicator unit 7 indicates a number of the operations of reading bar code information and a read rate by changes of light colors emitted from light emission diodes of two colors, in a second normal measuring mode, and first and second test modes.

摘要： A thermosetting powder resin based water-slurry coating composition prepared by dispersing water insoluble thermosetting resin particles and an adduct of a structurally symmetrical diol having a molecular weight of from 90 to 300 with ethylene oxide or propylene oxide, or a mixture thereof in an aqueous medium. The composition provides improvements in the anti-sedimentation properties and redispersibility of particles, and consequently in the extended storage stability and application performance thereof. The composition is applied to form a film with excellent smoothness, gloss, water resistance, moisture resistance, corrosion resistance, etc., without developing any pinholing and cratering by solvent popping, and checking on film formation by heating.
