    • A latch assembly (10) is mounted to a follower door (275) of a double door (257) and includes a latch (231) and a pressing board (453) pivotably received in a cutout (411) of the latch (231). When the follower door (275) moves from an open position to a closed position, a pressing side (457) of the pressing board (453) is pressed by a top beam (35) of a door frame (31). The pressing board (453) pivots and presses against a bottom face (413) of the cutout (411) of the latch (231), moving the latch (231) from an unlatching position to the latching position until the pressing side (457) of the pressing board (453) completely enters the cutout (411), and then a slant face (236) of the latch (231) presses against the door frame (31), causing movement of the latch (231) from the latching position to the unlatching position.

    • A door latch device includes a positioning seat having a positioning portion mounted to a top end or a bottom end of a door. The positioning portion includes a sliding groove having a sidewall with first and second insertion grooves. An actuation block includes a head and a body. The body is slideably received in the sliding groove.The body includes a receptacle. A ball is received in the receptacle of the actuation block and is biased by a spring. A latch is fixed to and jointly moveable with the actuation block between a latching position and an unlatching position corresponding to the locations of the first insertion groove and the second insertion groove. When the latch is in the latching or unlatching position, the spring biases the ball into a corresponding one of the first and second insertion grooves to retaining the latch in the latching or unlatching position.

    • A latch assembly with an anti-picking function includes a bracket mounted in a door and located at a top or bottom end of the door. A movable member is slideably received in the bracket. A lever is pivotably mounted in the bracket. A positioning member includes a first pivotal portion pivotably connected to the movable member. The positioning member and the movable member can move jointly. The positioning member further includes a second pivotal portion pivotably connected to the lever. When the lever pivots, the positioning member pivots and actuates the movable member to move, causing movement of a latch between a latching position and an unlatching position. When the latch is in the latching position, a lug of the positioning member abuts against the movable member to prevent the latch from moving from the latching position to the unlatching position by picking.

    • A fire bolt assembly (10) includes a receiving tube (117) mounted in a door (106). A mounting member (32) is mounted to the receiving tube (117). A positioning bolt (151) is received in the receiving tube (117). A stop member (58) is securely mounted in the mounting member (32) to hold the positioning bolt (151) in the receiving tube (117). The front end (153) of the positioning bolt (151) is moved out of the receiving tube (117) by a spring (100) to engage with a coupling hole (116) in another door (112) or a door frame when the stop member (58) melts due to the heat of a fire, locking the door (106) in place during the fire. A stick (175) in the receiving tube (117) is moved to a blocking position preventing the front end (153) of the positioning bolt (151) from disengaging from the coupling hole (116).
