摘要： An apparatus and method for authoring multimedia documents are provided. The apparatus includes a template document floating field detector for detecting a floating field of a template document, which is an incomplete multimedia document having a fixed field and the floating field, by parsing a control document including information identifying the floating field and a list of selectable objects; a control document provider for rendering and outputting the control document; a user selection information receiving unit for receiving information selected by a user with respect to the control document output from the control document provider; and a multimedia document finisher for completing the template document as a multimedia document by fixing the detected floating field to be an object designated by the information selected by the user among the list of selectable objects, when the information selected by the user is received.

In the method performed in a wireless network, a first network apparatus transmits a data frame requesting a response frame. The first network apparatus retransmits the data frame according to the type of the response frame transmitted to the first network apparatus.

The method for transmitting data in a coordinator-based wireless network, includes providing data to be transmitted to another wireless network device in the coordinator-based wireless network, providing a Media Access Control (MAC) frame containing the data and type information indicating the type of the data and conforming to a protocol for the coordinator-based wireless network, and transmitting the MAC frame to the other wireless network via a wireless medium. The method enables inter-operation between an MAC layer and a layer above the MAC layer by specifying type information in an MAC frame.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for bi-directionally exchanging data within an allocated channel time by improving the MAC (Media Access Control) of devices operating on a wireless PAN (Personal Area Network). The method of the present invention comprises the steps of (1) generating a channel time request frame containing directional information to determine whether data transmission is unidirectional or bi-directional, and transmitting the channel time request frame to a device responsible for channel time allocation; (2) generating a frame containing channel time allocation information including the directional information based on the information contained in the channel time request frame, and broadcasting the generated frame; and (3) exchanging data between first and second devices, which are designated as source and destination devices in the frame containing the channel time allocation information, during a predetermined channel time in accordance with the directional information.
