摘要： The present invention relates to a composition comprising an extract of Tiarella polyphylla, and tiarellic acid isolated therefrom having anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic and anti-asthmatic activity. The extract of Tiarella polyphylla and the tiarellic acid isolated therefrom shows the inhibitory effect on the LTC4 release in vitro test and the suppressive effect on the IgE level and the cytokine (IL-4, IL-5 and IL-13) production, airway hyperresponsiveness, and leukocyte infiltration in OVA-induced asthmatic mice. Therefore, it can be used as the therapeutics or functional health food for treating and preventing inflammatory, allergic and asthmatic disease.

摘要： The present invention relates to a composition comprising an extract of Tiarella polyphylla, and tiarellic acid isolated therefrom having anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic and anti-asthmatic activity. 摘要： Provided are a novel microorganism and a method for purifying 2,6-naphthalene dicarboxylic acid with high purity using the microorganism. The microorganism is Pseudomonas sp. Strain HN-72 isolated from soil and has the ability to convert 2-formyl-6-naphthoic acid contained as an impurity in a crude naphthalene dicarboxylic acid, which is an oxidation product of 2,6-dimethylnaphthalene, to 2,6-naphthalene dicarboxylic acid. The Pseudomonas sp. strain HN-72 has excellent effects in producing high-purity 2,6-naphthalene dicarboxylic acid in high yield.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method for increasing L-methionine productivity and organic acid productivity. More particularly, the present invention relates to a method which involves adding a mixture containing methyl mercaptan and dimethyl sulfide at a appropriate ratio to O-acetyl homoserine or O-succinyl homoserine and to an enzyme having an activity of converting methionine precursor into L-methionine, so as to perform an enzyme reaction, to thereby improve the conversion rate of L-methionine and organic acid from the L-methionine precursor, and thus increasing L-methionine yield as compared to conventional method.
