摘要： Disclosed is a method for outputting digital broadcast data in a digital broadcast reception device, which includes setting at least two preferred channels in each of at least one broadcast reception mode; detecting when a request for outputting broadcast programs of the preferred channels is input by a user during the output of a digital broadcast program currently received in a specific broadcast reception mode, and outputting the current digital broadcast program to a main screen; generating sub-screens in a number corresponding to the number of the broadcast reception mode or modes in which the preferred channels have been set; receiving digital broadcast programs of the preferred channels set in each broadcast reception mode; and outputting the received digital broadcast programs to the corresponding sub-screens. The method enables the user to view digital broadcast programs of preferred channels while viewing a specific digital broadcast program. Without necessarily having to directly press keys to search channels, which enhances the user convenience is enhanced.

Accordingly, a user's ability to shift between screens is more easily performed and may be performed without a separate key input.

The cradle includes a base unit, a cradling unit assembled to one face of the base unit and rotatable about a rotary axis extending perpendicularly to the one face of the base unit, and at least one cover member pivotally connected to the base unit. If the housing of the terminal is mounted on the cradling unit and rotated together with the cradling unit, the front and rear faces of the housing are reversed. The cradle configured in this manner is advantageous in that its cover member can protect the housing of the terminal and improve structural stability of the slim terminal. In addition, because the cover is used as a support in the extended state, a display device can be variously oriented, so that a user can conveniently use a multimedia service such as a broadcast.

摘要： An apparatus and method for receiving and displaying a television signal and a data signal in a mobile terminal. The mobile terminal includes a display unit with a video data display area and a user data display area. The mobile terminal determines in a standby mode whether it is set to a television mode or communication mode. If the mobile terminal is set to the television mode, it controls a tuner to select a desired television channel. The mobile terminal stores video data of a current frame received over the selected channel and user data corresponding to the selected channel in a memory unit, outputs video data of a previous frame stored in the memory unit to the video data display area of the display unit in a frame period and then outputs the user data stored in the memory unit to the user data display area of the display unit upon completing the output of the video data of the previous frame. In the communication mode, the mobile terminal stops the operation of the tuner and displays user data generated in the communication mode in the video data display area and user data display area.

The mobile terminal includes a display unit with a video data display area and a user data display area. 摘要： An apparatus and a method for changing an operation mode in a mobile communication terminal having a main housing and a folder cover movable with respect to the main housing about first and second hinge axes in first and second opening directions, respectfully, where a sense signal based on an opening direction of the folder cover is output; and the operation mode is changed depending on the sense signal. Accordingly, mode change can be quickly performed, depending on the opening direction of the folder cover, between a general phone mode for performing a phone call function and an e-mail mode for editing an e-mail and transmitting and receiving the edited e-mail. When the mobile communication terminal powers on, a user's desired mode can be accessed depending on the opening direction of the folder cover.
