    • The invention is directed to a device for changing objectives which are arranged in a work position in the optical axis of a beam path of an optical device at a distance from the object to be examined. The optical device has in particular a housing with a front surface and rear surface and side surfaces and focusing means for the objectives to be changed. Receptacles are provided which are connected to the housing of the device directly or by intermediate members and in which the objectives are arranged. The device comprises first means for the linear movement and/or combined rotational and swiveling movement of the receptacle in up to three coordinates, by which an objective can be positioned in the work position in the optical axis of the beam path of the device and outside the optical axis in a standby position.

    • An adjustable microscope tube for a microscope includes, in this order, along its beam path coming from an entrance to the microscope tube: an optical system, which images a first intermediate image to infinity; at least one deflecting element, which folds the parallel beam path following the optical system, and collecting optics, arranged following the deflecting element in the beam path, for imaging the first intermediate image, which has been imaged to infinity, onto a second intermediate image, wherein the length of at least one portion of the folded, parallel beam path can be changed by displacement of the deflecting element relative to the optical system.

    • The subject matter of the invention is an arrangement for focusing and adjusting illumination devices at microscopes which comprises a stationary stage and a housing or a stand with a stand base. A condenser carrier is arranged at the stand base so as to be removable and carries a condenser holder which is mounted so as to be displaceable in direction of the optical axis of the microscope beam path and at which a condenser is arranged. Further, a device is provided at the condenser holder for exchanging and adjusting the condenser. According to the invention, the condenser carrier is arranged between the observer and the optical axis of the microscope beam path in the area of the stand base adjacent to (facing) the observer.
