摘要： Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and device for transmitting data. The method includes: determining, after receiving a first message sent by a user equipment, whether first indication information is set, where the first indication information indicates that a server buffers downlink data to be sent to the user equipment; and when determining that the first indication information is set, retaining a signaling connection to the user equipment, and triggering the server that buffers the downlink data to send the downlink data to the user equipment. The method and device for transmitting data according to the embodiments of the present invention can save power of a user equipment.

The method includes receiving a subscription transfer request message sent by a first user equipment (UE) or a second UE, where the first UE is a target UE to which an embedded universal integrated circuit card (eUICC) subscription is transferred, and the second UE is a source UE from which the eUICC subscription is transferred; and transferring the eUICC subscription from the second UE to the first UE according to the subscription transfer request message, so that the first UE accesses an operator network according to transferred eUICC subscription data. The technical solution of the present invention can implement transfer of an eUICC subscription between UEs that use an eUICC, making it more flexible and convenient for a user to change a UE.

In this way, an additional PDN connection or a non-default PDN connection is established for a user equipment to extend a network access range of the user equipment.
