    • A liquid crystal display (LCD) having an oblique electric field while a voltage is applied between the upper plate and the lower plate of the LCD is disclosed. The LCD includes a first regulating device of the upper plate and the second regulating device of the lower plate. As no voltage between the upper and lower plate, the liquid crystal molecules in the proximity of the first and the second regulating device are perpendicular to the upper and the lower plate. After a voltage is applied, an oblique electric field is produced by these regulating devices. The liquid crystal molecules are then rotated to parallel to the upper and lower plates because of the oblique electric field. The first and second regulating devices are bumps made of dielectric material or slits of electrodes.

    • A stereoscopic optical device includes a substrate, an alignment film and a liquid crystal layer. The alignment film includes at least one first region and at least one second region. The liquid crystal layer, disposed on the alignment film, includes first liquid crystal molecules and second liquid crystal molecules. The first liquid crystal molecules correspond to the first region of the alignment film and have a first pre-tilt angle, the second liquid crystal molecules correspond to the second region of the alignment film and have a second pre-tilt angle. The fast axis of the first liquid crystal molecules and the fast axis of the second crystal molecules substantially face the same direction, and the slow axis of the first liquid crystal molecules and the slow axis of the second liquid crystal molecules substantially face in the same direction.

    • To utilize effectively the panel space of the liquid crystal panel, this invention has provided a wiring structure, in which the seal material and BM are coated in a superposition and the UV light is irradiated from one side of the TFT substrate; this invention has also provided a wiring structure, in which the seal material can still be irradiated by the UV light with high efficiency, meanwhile, the drop of the resistance value of the metal wiring on the TFT substrate can be restricted to a specific range. The solution is: the liquid crystal dropped is sandwiched between the TFT substrate and the CF substrate, meanwhile the liquid crystal panel is formed by adhering the light cured seal material disposed at the peripheral area of two substrates. In the adhering-formed liquid crystal panel, for the wiring portion, which is the portion of wiring disposed on the TFT substrate superposing the light cured seal material, the wiring structure is formed as follows, that is, the region of the seal material is divided into three regions, an adjacent region, a middle region and an outer region. The function of the respective regions must be held, and the resistance of the metal wiring is minimized under the precondition that the respective function is satisfied sufficiently.

    • A structure of a color filter plate for a liquid crystal display panel is described. The structure includes a body having four truncated edges and two recessed portions. The four truncated edges are non-right-angled in shape and respectively formed at four vertexes of the body. The two recessed portions are respectively formed on two opposite sides of the body. When forming a color filter layer composed of plural color filter plates in delta arrangement, the overlapping area of three adjacent color filter plates can be lowered. The light leakage problem of the liquid crystal display panel is suppressed, and the picture quality and the contrast thereof are enhanced.
