    • Toner for developing an electrostatic latent image comprising (a) a polyester resin of a non-linear copolymer having, as its side chain, an aliphatic hydrocarbon group containing therein 3 to 22 carbon atoms, said copolymer being obtained from polymerization of an etherified bisphenol monomer, a di-carboxilic acid monomer, and a polyhydric alcohol of tri-hydric or more and/or a monomer component containing a polycarboxylic acid monomer of tricarboxylic acid or more carboxylic or more, and at least one compound selected from the group consisting of (b) an alkylene-bis-aliphatic acid amide compound represented by the general formula; ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are independently selected from saturated or unsaturated aliphatic hydrocarbon groups having not less than 10 carbon atoms, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are independently selected from a hydrogen atom and a group represented by --OCR.sub.5 wherein R.sub.5 is a saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon group and n is a positive integer and (c) a wax containing not less than 20% by weight of ester component, the needle penetration degree of wax being not more than 4.

    • This invention relates to a toner for development of electrostatic images to be used for development of electrostatic images formed in electrophotography, electrostatic printing, electrostatic recording, etc., and an image forming method by use thereof.The toner of the present invention uses a resin constituted mainly of a copolymer comprising a crystalline polymer block and an amorphous polymer block chemically bound together, the cyrstalline polymer block has a specific melting point, the amorphous polymer block has a specific glass transition point, the moduli of the toner has a value with a specific range, and therefore according to the present invention, a toner excellent in durability can be provided, which is capable of fixing sufficiently even at a low temperature and yet also good in off-set resistance within such a temperature range, further having excellent anti-blocking characteristic, flowability, charging characteristic, anti-filming characteristic, cleaning property, thus being capable of forming good visible images stably.

    • Disclosed is a toner for developing an electrostatic latent image, comprising a binder resin, a colorant and a releasing agent, wherein said toner has:(1) a storage modulus (G') having a falling starting temperature of 45.degree. to 65.degree. C., when said logarithm of said fusion viscosity (.eta. ) is plotted as a function of degree of Celsius, and(3) a second inclination represented by (1/3).times.(log (G'.sub.200)-log (G'.sub.197)) is not less than -0.025 at 200.degree. C., wherein said log (G'.sub.200) represents a common logarithm of said storage modulus (G') at 200.degree. C., said log (G'.sub.197) represents a common logarithm of said storage modulus (G') at 197.degree. C., and said second inclination represented by (1/3).times.(log (G'.sub.200)-log (G'.sub.197)) represents an inclination of a tangent at 200.degree. C., when said logarithm of said storage modulus (G') is plotted as a function of degree of Celsius.
