The ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer resin which contains an alkali metal salt (A) and has a very low extractable carboxylate content is obtained by a method including contacting the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer resin with an aqueous solution containing carbon dioxide gas.

摘要： For providing a blow molded container comprising an EVOH resin composition which generates less sourness and which is superior in interlayer adhesiveness and providing an environmentally friendly production process in which no carboxylic acid such as acetic acid is released during the production and molding of the EVOH resin composition, disclosed is a method comprising blow molding an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer resin composition obtained by contacting an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer with an aqueous solution containing both carbon dioxide gas and at least one additive selected from the group consisting of an alkali metal salt (A) and a boron compound (B) and then drying the copolymer until the water content is reduced to 1% by weight or less.

摘要： The present invention is directed to a resin composition superior in barrier properties and also superior in flexibility, secondary processability and interlayer adhesiveness. The present invention is also directed to an environmentally friendly method for producing a resin composition, the method releasing no carboxylic acid such as acetic acid to the peripheral environment. The invention provides an EVOH resin composition (F) which has a content of an alkali metal salt (A), in terms of the alkali metal, of 0.1 to 20 μmol/g and a content of a carboxyl acid or its salt (C), in terms of carboxylate radical, of 2 μmol/g or less and which has an ethylene content of 5 to 60 mol % and a saponification degree of from 80 to 99 mol %. In addition, the invention provides a resin composition comprising the EVOH resin composition (F) and an EVOH having an ethylene content of 5 to 60 mol % and a degree of saponification of 99.2 to 100 mol %.

摘要： The present invention provides a resin composition which comprises EVOH and a thermoplastic resin other than EVOH and which generates less odor and therefore is suitable for food packaging applications. The invention also provides an environmentally friendly method for producing a resin composition, without releasing any carboxylic acid such as acetic acid to the peripheral environment. A resin composition containing less carboxylate group is obtained by contacting an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer resin with an aqueous solution containing both carbon dioxide gas and at least one additive selected from the group consisting of an alkali metal salt (A) and a boron compound (B) and then melt kneading with a thermoplastic resin (G) other than EVOH.

摘要： The present invention provides a resin composition including an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (EVOH) and a polyamide resin and having outstanding properties in terms of long-term run stability, appearance, and hot water resistance in melt molding. In this resin composition, 70 mol % or more of all the terminal ends of the polyamide resin are blocked with units including an imide structure. At least a portion of the units containing an imide structure may be units containing a cyclic imide structure.
