The wiper arm has a distal coupling portion attached to the coupling member. When the distal coupling portion is attached to the coupling member, side cover walls of the distal coupling portion are each engaged with the corresponding side wall of the coupling member.

The top ridge of the lever is offset from the center line of the wiper strip on one side of the center line of the wiper strip in a transverse direction that is perpendicular to the center line of the wiper strip. The fin is formed in the finned portion of the lever on the other side of the center line of the wiper strip.
