摘要： A clutch disc assembly holding a diaphragm spring using a pair of wire rings clamped by bent tabs of a clutch cover or stud pins, and having a coned disc spring for controlling an increase in a releasing load due to wear of facings of a clutch. An annular coned disc spring urging an outer peripheral portion of the diaphragm spring to a side opposite to the clutch disc is disposed between a pressure plate and the diaphragm spring. An annular support plate is provided and its inner peripheral portion is held between the bent tabs of the clutch cover and the pair of wire rings. The coned disc spring is held by an outer peripheral portion of the support plate and the outer peripheral portion of the diaphragm spring in an elastically deflected condition.

摘要： A damper disc assembly comprises an input rotation member, a flanged hub connectable to an output member, an elastic member elastically connecting the input rotation member and the hub flange, a plurality of friction members and an regulator. The plurality of friction members are sandwiched between the input rotation member and the hub flange and develop hysteresis torque when the input rotation member rotates relative to the hub. The regulator enables a select number friction members to be functional depending on whether the damper assembly responds to phases of twisting of the input rotation member relative to the hub flange in either a direction positive or negative with respect to the rotation of the input rotation member.

To this end, a cylindrical sleeve (7) guided by a guide (2) is not secured directly to a side plate (9) between an inner race (10) and the guide (2), as with a conventional structure. A cover (8) which has not hitherto been used, is used in the present invention. The cover (8) is secured to the side plate (9), and the cover (8) sandwiches the sleeve (7) in cooperation with a release bearing (6).
