    • A fluid brake pressure control system having a hydraulic pressure control valve device controlling the wheel cylinder hydraulic pressure by the inertia in response to the vehicle deceleration with such device being located in a circuit between a master cylinder and wheel cylinders. The device includes a housing member provided thereon with an inlet port to be connected with the master cylinder and an outlet port to be connected with the wheel cylinders, the housing member being provided therein with a first chamber to be directly connected with the inlet port and a second chamber to be directly connected with the outlet port, an inertia member located in the second chamber, the inertia member being operable by inertia in response to vehicle deceleration, a cut off valve mechanism located in the first chamber, the cut off valve mechanism cutting off the hydraulic brake pressure by the inertia member, a piston member having a small diameter portion opposing the inertia member and a large diameter portion receiving the master cylinder brake pressure, the piston member being moveable to contact with the inertia member by the differential effective pressure between the small diameter portion and the large diameter portion so as to keep open the cut off valve mechanism when the hydraulic brake pressure from the master cylinder exceeds a predetermined value.

    • A pressure control valve assembly in a split brake system having two separate pressure lines comprises two valve pistons subjected to pressure from separate pressure sources so as to control the outlet pressure admitted to the respective rear wheel brakes. The valve assembly further comprises two movable members each in alignment with each of two valve pistons and subjected to the pressure of two pressure lines at each end thereof and two springs each interposed between a respective piston and movable member for normally urging the piston in the valve closing direction. The hydraulic failure of one of two pressure lines causes the movable member to move in the direction wherein no biasing force of the spring may be imparted to the valve piston.

    • An apparatus for compensating a time base error of a video signal. A reference signal of no time base error is generated. A difference between a frequency of the reference signal and a frequency of a horizontal synchronizing signal included in an input analog video signal is detected and then a difference signal is outputted. In response to the difference signal, a phase of the reference signal is controlled. The video signal is sampled, based on the reference signal the phase of which is controlled, thus the video signal is converted into a digital signal in which the difference is cancelled. The digital signal is stored in a memory. And the stored digital signal is read out, based on the reference signal.

    • An improved hydraulic brake control assembly for automotive vehicles having a proportioning valve for regulating the hydraulic pressure applied to the rear wheel brakes from a master brake cylinder in accordance with vehicular load. A control device responsive to vehicular deceleration and hydraulic pressure from the master brake cylinder controls the proportioning valve by a slidable piston of the control device applying an urging force on the proportioning valve varied in response to the hydraulic pressure applied to the slidable piston. The hydraulic pressure from the master brake cylinder applied to the slidable piston is modified by first valve, a second pressure-sensitive valve and an orifice. The first valve controls admission of the hydraulic pressure to the slidable piston in response to predetermined vehicular deceleration, the orifice and the second valve being in parallel, the hydraulic pressure normally being supplied to the slidable piston through the orifice. The normally-closed second valve is opened when a predetermined hydraulic pressure difference is reached on opposing sides of the orifice for supplying the hydraulic pressure to the slidable piston without pressure throttling by the orifice. The proportioning valve therefore operates to provide a proper hydraulic pressure to the rear wheel brakes in accordance with different vehicular loads and braking applications.
