摘要： The center of rotation of a disk medium 1 when servo information is written thereto coincides as accurately as possible with its center of rotation in the drive into which the disk medium 1 is assembled.The magnetic disk medium 1 is fixed to a spindle hub 4. A centering pin 8a of a push-aside mechanism 9 pushes aside the magnetic disk medium 1 with respect to the center of the spindle hub 4 until the disk-to-hub gap is moved to one side. Then, with a centering pin 8b of a come-back mechanism 10 placed in the same line intersecting with the center of the spindle, the magnetic disk medium 1 is pushed back to the opposite side.

摘要： A shock-absorbing polyurethane foam is formed of a polyol component and a polyisocyanate component. The polyol component is a mixed polyol having an average hydroxyl number of 130-250 and composed at least of 20-70 parts by weight of a low-molecular polyol having a molecular weight of 300-500 and 80-30 parts by weight of a high-molecular polyol having a molecular weight of 1,500-8,000 per 100 parts by weight of the whole polyol component. The foam further contains 5-150 parts by weight of a plasticizer having a solidification point not higher than -20.degree. C. per 100 parts by weight of the whole polyol component. The foam can be produced by reacting the polyol component and polyisocyanate component in the presence of 5-150 parts by weight of the plasticizer per 100 parts by weight of the polyol component.

摘要： An object of the invention is to provide a method of assembling a disc which can reduce an unbalance of a rotating portion. The method of assembling a disc-like recording medium has a first step of mounting a disc-like recording medium to a disc apparatus in a state capable of moving the disc-like recording medium with respect to a hub of a spindle motor in a direction of a disc radius, a second step of pressing an outer diameter of the disc in a direction of a center axis of the hub by a first flat member so as to bring an inner diameter of the disc into contact with an outer diameter of a rotary axis of the hub, a third step of pressing back the outer diameter of the disc contact with the first flat member and the outer diameter of the disc at an opposite position to the center of the disc in an inverse direction to a pressing direction of the first flat member to a half of an amount of tolerance between the inner diameter of the disc and the outer diameter of the hub, by a second flat member placed substantially in parallel to the first flat member and in an opposite side to the center axis of the hub, and a fourth step of fixing the disc to the spindle motor hub by a clamp member.
