摘要： A miter saw having good workability without decrease in angle visibility is disclosed. The miter saw includes a display unit provided on a turntable. The display unit 600 is positioned between an operating handle protruding outward from the turntable and a rotation axis of the turntable. The display unit is positioned below the upper surfaces of a base and the turntable not so as to protrude above the upper surface of the turntable. The display unit displays an inclination angle of a circular saw blade with respect to the upper surface of the base and a rotation angle of the turntable with respect to the base in a line.

A clamp shaft is provided for clamping the tilting section to the tilt motion support. A tilt amount fine control unit is provided for performing fine control to the tilting angle, and includes an arcuate gear teeth section provided at the tilt motion support, rotation shaft for moving the arcuate gear teeth, and adjustment knob supported on the clamp shaft for rotating the rotation shaft. A neck table section is provided at a front side of the turntable, and includes a digital display for displaying a lateral tilting angle of the circular saw unit.

A rotation amount detection unit is provided for detecting rotation amount of the turntable. A control unit is provided for displaying the rotation angle at a display. The control unit computes correction value that makes a rotation angle to be displayed at the display to be coincident with the predetermined rotation angle when the turntable is rotated to the predetermined rotation angle. The rotation angle is computed based on the correction value and on the rotation amount detected by the rotation amount detection unit.
