    • To make images of an image display apparatus that is mounted on the head easily viewable, an image display apparatus 1 includes a main body 10 that is formed in the shape of eyeglasses. The main body 10 can be fixed onto the head of a user. The main body 10 is provided with a display device 20 that is positioned in front of a user's left eye and a shielding plate 30 that is positioned in front of the user's right eye when the main body 10 is fixed to the user's head.
