The CO2 liquefaction system includes a first cooling system capable of cooling a CO2 gas to liquefy greater than approximately 50 percent of the CO2 gas. The first cooling system produces a first CO2 liquid. The CO2 gas pressure is less than approximately 3450 kilopascals (500 pounds per square inch absolute).

摘要： An external fluid in a closed loop is used to cool hot gas path components of gas turbine. After cooling the turbine components, the heated external fluid is dumped either in the compressor discharge casing or in the one of the turbine's stages. Where the external fluid is nitrogen to be dumped in the turbine compressor's discharge casing, the nitrogen is compressed using diluent nitrogen compressors. Alternatively, where the external fluid is nitrogen to be dumped in one of the stages of the turbine, the nitrogen is not compressed at all. The turbine blade heat exchangers in the turbine stages through which the nitrogen passes can be connected in parallel or in series for cooling the hot gas path components in the turbine stages. The nitrogen can optionally be mixed with air or steam or not mixed at all.

摘要： A method and apparatus for controlling a temperature a component of a gas turbine is disclosed. A compressed gas for use as a coolant is provided. The coolant is moisturized at a moisturizeing unit. A circulating unit circulates the moisturized coolant to the component of the gas turbine to control the temperature of the component. The coolant can be air, nitrogen, and a mixture of air and nitrogen in various embodiments. The component of the turbine can be a blade of a turbine section of the gas turbine, a turbine nozzle and a combustor, for example. A combustor can combust a mixture of fuel and the moisturized compressed coolant gas to reduce a NOx emission of the gas turbine.
