摘要： An automatic disc player system with means for automatically selecting the disc and loading the disc on a turntable. A carrier assembly including a pickup means is slidable along a longitudinal axis of a disc holder portion in which the discs are arranged face to face on a longitudinal holder member. In order to load the disc on the turntable, a slider having a roller to guide the disc forces the same to a position of play where a clamper having a portion cooperative with the turntable catches the disc to load the same on the turntable. The operation of selecting and loading the disc is controlled by a microcomputer assisted control system.

A slidable stop plate is movable back and forth and cooperates with a record disc detecting arm biased in one direction and rotatable in abutment with a circumferential periphery of the record disc. Any size record disc having any size center hole may be suitably positioned and delivered into and from the record player. A movable spindle assembly is used for holding and delivering the record disc. The record disc is held at its center hole by the spindle assembly. A novel drive cam mechanism and a novel drive direction change-over device are also disclosed. Through such gearing mechanisms, the record disc may be transferred along a groove mechanism for the spindle assembly.

The record disc is passed between the disc guide members when being inserted in the predetermined direction into the casing structure through the slot. A drive is operative to drive the disc guide members for movement toward or away from each other.

Negative pressure for sucking the liquid injected from the injection nozzle through a suction port is produced by a suction unit and guided through a suction channel toward the suction port. A bypass channel which bypasses the liquid supply channel on the upstream side with respect to the injection nozzle and connects with the suction channel is provided. The bypass channel is opened and closed by an opening and closing unit. According to this structure, flow of unnecessary liquid from the injection nozzle can be reduced by opening the opening and closing unit while injection of liquid is stopping.
