    • A device discovery section discovers devices connected to a network. A metadata acquisition section acquires, via a communication section, all summary information held by the detected devices and containing recording dates and times of image contents. The metadata acquisition section stores the summary information acquired in a metadata control section. A detailed information acquisition section selects some of the image contents stored in the metadata control section on the basis of the recording dates and times of the image contents. The detailed information acquisition section selects some of the plurality of image contents for which the summary information acquisition section has acquired the summary information, on the basis of the recording dates and times in the summary information A display item control section arranges the detailed information acquired by the detailed information acquisition section in date cells on a display screen to display the information on the display screen.

    • According to one embodiment, there is disclosed a network apparatus making an information exchange with other apparatus on a network. A communication unit makes a communication with the other apparatus via the network. A data storage stores data. A recording bit rate measuring unit measures as a recording bit rate a decreasing amount per unit time of a residual capacity of the data storage. A recording bit rate monitor monitors the recording bit rate as a state variable, determines whether or not the state variable changes based on a predetermined reference, and outputs an event issue request if it is determined that the state variable changes. An event processor sends an event notification showing a state change from the communication unit to the other apparatus based on the event issue request from the recording bit rate monitor.

    • According to one embodiment, an electronic apparatus comprises a first communication module, a terminal, a second communication module and an address management module. The first communication module is configured to communicate with at least one device in accordance with a first communication scheme. The second communication module is configured to communicate with at least one device in accordance with a second communication scheme via the terminal. Lastly, the address management module is configured to assign a first physical address value to said at least one device via the second communication module based on an identification (ID) value of the apparatus, wherein the first physical address value is information associated with the second communication scheme and the ID value is information associated with the first communication scheme and is assigned based on an assignment scheme defined by the first communication scheme.
