摘要： Disclosed is a method and system of controlling data information between two portable handheld apparatuses where the portable apparatuses include a first apparatus for performing a first operation and a second operation, and a second apparatus including a drug administration device. Each apparatus is capable one or more of the following: storing, transmitting, receiving, processing and displaying data information, and where the two apparatuses have a number of interrelated positions during normal use, where the method includes: automatically storing at least first data information relevant to said first operation in said first apparatus, automatically storing at least second data information relevant to said second operation in said second apparatus, and automatically transmitting, via short-range communications means, data information relevant to at least one of said first and second operations between said first and second apparatuses when said apparatuses are mutually positioned in one of said number of interrelated positions.

摘要： The invention provides a device for displaying information, comprising storage means for storing data, display means adapted to display data to a user, and user input means. The data is organized as data units, each data unit comprising time data, type data and information data, and the display means is adapted to graphically display an aggregate period view comprising at least two period views, graphically display a single period view, graphically display a symbol corresponding to a given data type, graphically display at least one data type symbol for every period view, and display a card view comprising information data corresponding to a selected symbol. The user input means allows the user to select a desired period view from an aggregate period view, the display thereby displaying the selected period view, and select a desired symbol, the display thereby displaying a card view showing at least a portion of the corresponding information data. By this arrangement a data display user interface is created providing the user with both an overview of stored data, yet allows the user to easily navigate to retrieve more detailed data information as desired.

摘要： Aerosol dispensing devices and methods for using the same for administering aerosolized drugs to a subject are provided. Aspects of the aerosol dispensing device include an aerosol production unit configured to produce an aerosol from a liquid containing a pharmaceutically active drug, and a burst valve adapted to mechanically open in response to a subject's inhalation. The burst valve is configured to prevent airflow through the device until the subject's inhalation produces an operational pressure difference across the burst valve. In some embodiments, the operational pressure difference can be 15 cm H2O or less. Aspects of the invention can also include a heating element configured to evaporate water from aerosol droplets. The devices and methods of the invention find use in a variety of applications, such as in applications in which it is desired to administer an aerosolized drug to a subject.
