摘要： The invention relates to a method for sealing a package (1) containing a product (4), wherein the lid portion (3) and the bottom portion (2) of the package are joined together by means of plastic material. The bottom portion (2) and the lid portion (3) are joined together by sealing by injection molding, by molding plastic material (5) on both sides of a joint (10) between the bottom portion and the lid portion in such a way that the plastic material (5) exteriorly covers the joint (10) on the outside and joins the bottom portion (2) and the lid portion (3) together.

摘要： The object of the invention is a liquid packaging board (1), wherein the base board (3) is provided with at least one polymeric coating layer on both sides thereof to decrease the flavor scalping from a packaged liquid, such as citrus fruit juice. Inside the baseboard, there is a layer (6) of ethylene methyl acrylate copolymer either in a direct contact with the packaged liquid or coated with a thin layer of polyolefin. The invention also relates to a closed package for liquid food that is formed from the liquid packaging board (1) by folding and seaming, wherein the side that comes in contact with the food product, correspondingly, comprises an EMA layer and, possibly, a thin polyolefin layer on top of the same. The invention further comprises the use of EMA in decreasing the flavor scalping from the packaged liquid by the packaging material.

摘要： The invention relates to a method of producing olefinic monomers for the production of a polymer. The invention particularly relates to the production of tall oil-based biopolymers, such as polyolefins. In the stages of the method bio oil, with a content of over 50% of fatty acids of tall oil and no more than 25% of resin acids of tall oil, and hydrogen gas are fed into a catalyst bed (7); the oil is catalytically deoxygenated in the bed by hydrogen; the flow exiting the bed is cooled down and divided into a hydrocarbon-bearing liquid phase (10) and a gas phase; and the hydrocarbon-bearing liquid (13) is subjected to steam cracking (4) to provide a product containing polymerizing olefins. The deoxygenation in the bed can be followed by a catalytic cracking or, with a suitable catalyst, the deoxygenation and cracking can be simultaneous. The separated hydrogen-bearing gas phase can be circulated in the process.

摘要： The invention relates to a digital printing method and a paper or board applicable thereto. In digital printing, the surface of a paper or board is charged electrically, toner particles are brought to the surface in an electric field in accordance with the printing, and the particles are melted fast to the surface with the help of heat for forming the printing. According to the invention, the paper or board (2) is provided with a coating layer (3) containing an electrically chargeable acrylate copolymer of ethylene, which receives the toner that is fused to the coating with the help of infra red radiation. Suitable coating polymers are especially methyl, ethyl and butyl acrylate copolymers of ethylene (EMA, EEA and EBA). Especially in packaging boards, besides the digitally printable layer, the polymer coatings can comprise a water vapour or oxygen barrier layer for protecting the packed product, and a heat-sealable layer on the opposite side of the board for sealing the package.

摘要： The invention relates to a multi-layer heat-sealable packaging material especially for food packages. In addition, objects of the invention are a food package formed of the said packaging material, a method of packaging, and the use of the material for packages. The packaging material (1) comprises a middle layer (3) of fibre material, such as cardboard; at least one polymeric protective layer (4, 5) protecting the product from going bad; and polymeric heat sealing layers (2, 7) preferably on both sides of the packaging material. According to the invention, the heat sealing layer (7) forming the inner surface of the closed package, is blended with light-absorbing pigment, such as carbon black, for protecting the product from visible light. By further blending white pigment, such as titanium dioxide, into the heat sealing layer (7), a grey tint resembling an aluminium foil has been achieved for the layer. The heat sealing polymer may be low-density polyethylene (PE-LD), and an oxygen and aroma proof sealing layer (4) of, for example, ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer (EVOH) or polyamide (PA) may be provided between it and the cardboard (3).

摘要： The invention relates to compostable polymer coated paper or paperboard (1), a method for making the same and products obtained therefrom. According to the invention, a compostable biodegradable coating (3) of paper or paperboard (1) includes an outer layer (6) containing polylactide the weight of which is at the most about 20 g/m2, and of an adhesive layer (7) that binds the outer layer to the paper or paperboard (1) and is of biodegradable polymer material that is coextruded with the polylactide. Suitable materials for the adhesive layer (7) are biodegradable polyesters. The production is by coextrusion of the polylactide layer (6) and the adhesive layer (7) on either one side of the paper or paperboard or on both sides thereof. Products obtained include in particular packages for food stuffs and disposable dishes such as containers for frozen foods, disposable drinking cups, heat-sealed carton packages and packaging wraps.

摘要： The invention relates to a polymer-coated Polymer-coated heat-sealable packaging material, heat-sterilized package formed from the material, and use of the packaging material. The material comprises a fiber base 4 (e.g., packaging board made of bleached pulp) with polymer heat-seal layers 1,9 located on both sides thereof. The package comprises, outside the fiber base, first polymer coating layer 2, which contains white pigment for covering the fiber base from sight, and second coating layer 8, which contains light-absorbing pigment. A coating layer pigmented grey inside the fiber base may provide a light shield for the packaged product. Absorbent black pigment may be located outside the fiber base underneath the white layer to stabilize the brightness of the material. A heat-sterilized package is made by providing the packaging material, forming a package containing, e.g., food, and heat-sterilizing the package in an autoclave. Yellowing of the fiber-based material is avoided by means of a white pigment.
