摘要： A stentering machine having a horizontal drying zone and a vertical pretreatment zone for a web of material spread out between stentering chains is described. The stentering chains are brought from the vertical position into a horizontal position in a deflection zone. In order to achieve the result, in the case of a stentering chain with deflection about axes that stand vertical to the surface of the web of material, that the chain can be guided through the deflection zone with tilting of the linking pins, without damage to the pin bearings, the deflection pins are configured to be crowned elements. The deflection bolt bearings are shaped to correspond to the crowning of the pins.

摘要： A bushing liner is provided for a bushing of an endless chain of a textile machine traveling web transport assembly of the type which supports a web in tension during transport of the web through a textile handling process such as, for example, a web drying process. The endless chain includes a plurality of links, each respective adjacent pair of the links being interconnected to one another by a pin and each pin being rotatably supported by a bushing mounted to one of the links. The bushing liner of the present invention is disposed intermediate a bushing and its associated pin and includes first and second circumferential ends normally angularly spaced from one another by a slot. The slot extends from one axial end to the other of the bushing liner and permits angular movement of the first and second circumferential ends toward and away from one another to thereby permit the bushing liner to accommodate internal and external forces exerted thereon. Preferably, the slot is inclined with respect to the axis of the bushing liner.

The web guiding apparatus includes a device for supporting the traveling web during the feed of the web from a web conveying assembly to a severing location at which a selvedge is severed from the web. The support device includes an endless belt assembly having an endless belt traveling in an inclined direction with respect to the web travel path of the web conveying assembly. The web guiding apparatus further includes a support bar for supporting the web laterally inwardly of the endless belt.

摘要： An apparatus for a tenter frame feeds a fabric web to the nip region of vertical pins and cooperating rollers of a pair of endless belt assemblies which transport the web through a drying chamber. The apparatus includes a guide member which guides the web into the nip at a relatively steep angle, preferably in the range of +.degree. to 60.degree.. The guide member can be supported on a pair of swivel supports, each of the swivel supports being movably supported on one of the endless belt assemblies. Additionally the guide member can be a roller rotatable about its axial length which can be rotated in synchronization with the feed of the web.
