    • A washing machine with a vibration-absorbing structure for preventing the transfer of the vibration of the driving part is disclosed. The washing machine includes a rotor housing 50 in which a rotor is installed and which is rotatably moved, a driving shaft 20, 31, 33 for rotating a washing tub or a pulsator using a rotational force transferred from the rotor housing, a power transferring member 120 for transferring the rotational force of the rotor housing to the driving shaft, a rotor bushing 110 coupled to the rotor housing and through which the driving shaft penetrates to be slidingly moved, and at least one vibration-absorbing member 140, 150 installed on a path where a power is transferred from the rotor housing to the driving shaft, for absorbing vibration of the rotor housing.

    • Disclosed herein is a motor and a washing machine with the same mounted therein. The motor includes a rotor cup having cooling-holes and lower blades formed at the bottom part thereof. The cooling-holes and lower blades are arranged such that each of the cooling-holes and lower blades is at a prescribed angle to the radial direction of the rotor cup so that the volume of blown air is increased, and thus a blowing force is also increased. The rotor cup is provided at the lower part of the circumference thereof with vents for allowing the air introduced into the inside of the rotor cup to be discharged to the outside therethrough. The rotor is provided at the upper side thereof with backward type upper blades so that the upper part of the motor is separately cooled, whereby cooling efficiency of the motor is improved.

    • Disclosed is an outer rotor type induction motor. The present invention includes a driving shaft, a stator core fixed to a frame and having a plurality of stator slots so that the driving shaft penetrates a center of the stator core, a coil wound on the stator slots so as to form a rotatory magnetic field, a rotor housing installed outside the stator core so as to maintain a predetermined slit with the stator core wherein the driving shaft is coupled through a bottom center of the rotor housing, a rotor conductor coupled with an inner circumference face of the rotor housing so as to generate a torque by the rotatory magnetic field of the coil, and a plurality of upper blades installed at an upper end of the rotor housing so as to leave a predetermined interval therebetween wherein an external air is forcibly sucked in to cool the coil when the rotor housing revolves. The present invention secures sufficiently the space for coil winding to provide automation of winding the coil on the stator core, thereby enabling mass production to reduce product cost.

    • A drum type washing machine including a tub installed in a cabinet is disclosed. The drum type washing machine includes a drum performing washing, a motor rotating the drum, bearing housings having bearings to support a rotation shaft, a suspension connected to the bearing housings and the cabinet to mitigate vibration generated during rotation of the drum, a bracket installed to the bearing housings to form the rear side of the tub, and a gasket installed between the bracket and the tub to seal the tub and to prevent vibration from being transmitted from the bracket to the tub. Volumes of the tub and the drum can be easily increased without increasing the volume of the cabinet. Even when the volume of the washing machine is changed, only one of the tub and the bearing housings, which is not applicable to the drum type washing machine having the changed washing capacity, is selectively replaced. Thus parts can commonly used in various drum type washing machine having different volume.
