    • The present invention provides an ink discharging apparatus capable of forming a high-quality film. An ink discharging apparatus (1) includes: an ink discharge section (2) which is movable relative to a substrate in order to discharge ink onto plural defective pixels scattering on the substrate; and a discharge time interval calculating section (4) which calculates a discharge time interval from the previous ink discharge to the ink discharge of this time, in accordance with the order of ink discharge onto plural defective pixels. The ink discharge section (2) controls an amount of discharged droplets of ink or the number of discharged droplets, in accordance with the discharge time interval calculated by the discharge time interval calculating section (4).

    • An ink ejector includes a head movement control section (22), an ink ejection area recognition section (3), an ink ejection timing control section (23), and an ink droplet number calculating section (5). With this arrangement, it is possible to cause nozzles included in a nozzle array to eject ink at different timings and gradually increase an amount of ink to be ejected. This allows a film thickness of an ink ejection area after landing of ink droplets to be uniform. As a result, it is possible to form a good-quality film. Further, since a head (7) includes a nozzle array having a plurality of nozzles (10), it is possible to shorten the amount of time required to restore a defective pixel. Thus, it is possible to provide an ink ejector and an ink ejection control method in which a good-quality film having a uniform thickness can be formed, and the amount of time required to restore a defective pixel can be shortened.

    • A droplet discharge drawing apparatus of the present invention includes: an ink discharging section for discharging droplets to a plurality of targets of discharge present on a target recording material; a gantry sliding mechanism for relatively moving the ink discharging section with respect to the recording medium; and a pre-oscillation section for causing pre-oscillation of the droplet discharging section. The droplet discharge drawing apparatus further includes a control section supplying, to the pre-oscillation section, a pre-oscillation signal for causing the pre-oscillation of the ink discharging section so that the pre-oscillation is carried out before discharge of a droplet and within a time in which the displacement section moves the droplet discharging section relatively with respect to the target recording material. This provides a droplet discharge drawing apparatus which inhibits an increase in viscosity of the droplet during a time when the droplet discharging section moves so that (i) clogging of a nozzle or the like is prevented and (ii) a droplet made of, for example, ink is discharged at a high precision of landing.

    • A discharging head turns from a main scanning direction into the opposite main scanning direction in a short period of time in moving from one target of ink discharge to another. An ink-discharging apparatus of the present invention is arranged such that: ink-discharging means takes longer to move from one target of positive-direction discharge (2a) to another (2c) along main-scanning directions than along sub-scanning directions and takes longer to move from one of the targets of negative-direction discharge (2b) to another (2b) along the main-scanning directions than along the sub-scanning directions; the ink-discharging means takes longer to move from the last one of the targets of positive-direction discharge (2a) to the first one of the targets of negative-direction discharge along the sub-scanning directions than along the main scanning directions, the last target of positive-direction discharge being a target of positive-direction discharge that the ink-discharging means scans last among the targets of positive-direction discharge, the first target of negative-direction discharge being a target of negative-direction discharge that the ink-discharging means scans first among the targets of negative-direction discharge; and the ink-discharging means starts to move along the sub-scanning directions toward the first target of second-direction discharge in starting to move from the last target of positive-direction discharge to the first target of negative-direction discharge.

    • The inkjet apparatus of the present invention includes an inkjet section, a determination section, an inkjet control section, and the like, and the inkjet section is movable in a main scanning direction Y and a sub scanning direction X relative to a medium. In case where a plurality of pixel print targets (2) (inkjet targets) are dotted on a substrate (4) serving as the medium, the determination section calculates a time Yt taken to move in the main scanning direction and a time Xt taken to move in the sub scanning direction and determines whether or not the time Xt is equal to or less than Yt, so as to select a next inkjet target or next inkjet target candidates. Further, the inkjet control section may determine whether the inkjet section is in a static state or not (whether the inkjet section oscillates or not). As a result, it is possible to eject ink to the inkjet target accurately.
