    • A communication system working according to an asynchronous transfer mode comprises ATM communication equipment units connected to one another, whereby a plurality of concentrator equipment units are connected to at least one of the ATM communication equipment units. The concentrator equipment units together with the corresponding ATM communication equipment units are thereby arranged in a ring line system. Within this ring line system, each of the concentrator equipment units is connected via a separate virtual path to, on the one hand, the corresponding ATM communication equipment unit and, on the other hand, to each of the remaining concentrator equipment units. A plurality of virtual connections having defined transmission capacities can be respectively conducted via the individual virtual paths. Particulars with respect to the transmission capacities already occupied for established virtual connections are kept separately for the individual virtual paths in the corresponding ATM communication equipment units and are updated with every set-up and clear-down of a virtual connection. According to the measure of these particulars, a new virtual connection is thereby allowed only given a transmission capacity on the respective, virtual path that is still adequate.

    • The invention relates to a closure system on a fuel tank (2) of thermoplastics with barrier properties for hydrocarbons. The closure system comprises at least one orifice (4), with a closure cap (5) which closes the orifice (4) in a sealing manner and which cooperates in a form-fitting manner with closure means provided at the circumference of the orifice (4) and encloses at least one first sealing means between it and a tank wall (3). The closure system (1) according to the invention is distinguished in that the tank wall is sealed in the region of the orifice (4) with at least one second sealing means, which covers and/or shields a part of the tank wall surfaces exposed to hydrocarbons.

    • A vortex chamber atomizer has a housing consisting of an axially extending casing and end plates which shut off the ends of the casing and of which one has an inlet nozzle therein and the other end plate has an outlet pipe therein, there furthermore being at least two tubular connectors extending through the casing so that the center lines of such connectors are at a distance from, and a right angle to the axis of the housing.In order to obtain an air-liquid mixture with ideal turbulence while avoiding prior segregation within the vortex chamber the housing contains annularly extending internal structures running at a right angle from the face of the casing in a circumferential direction. These internal structures extend into the interior of the housing in such a manner that a cavity is defined in the housing, which is adapted in form to the primary vortex produced in the vortex chamber atomizer.
