    • A method for adjusting a second hearing device in dependence of a first hearing device is proposed. Therein, the first hearing device has been, by means of a first fitting system, individually adjusted to needs and preferences of a specific hearing device user. The method comprises the steps of a1) providing data (165) related to the first hearing device; a2) providing data (155) related to the first fitting system; d1′) adjusting the second hearing device in dependence of the data (165) related to said first hearing device and of the data (155) related to said first fitting system. The corresponding apparatus is disclosed, too. A fitting can be transferred from the first hearing device to the second hearing device.

    • A method for adjusting a hearing device (1) to individual needs of a hearing device user is disclosed. The hearing device (1) comprises an input transducer (2), a signal processing unit (3) and an output transducer (4), the signal processing unit (3) being operatively connected to the input transducer (2) as well as to the output transducer (4), and the signal processing unit (3) defining an input/output behavior of the hearing device (1). The method comprising the steps of operationally connecting the hearing device (1) to a fitting device (5) comprising a display unit (6), displaying a hearing threshold level (22) of the hearing device user as a function of frequencies on the display unit (6), displaying characteristics of a predefined sound sample (25, 30) on the display unit (6), and adjusting the input/output behavior such that at least a part of the predefined sound sample (25, 30) lies above the hearing threshold level (22) at corresponding frequencies. An arrangement for adjusting a hearing device (1) is also disclosed.

    • A mass of a hardenable synthetic resin such as polyurethatne is introduced into a mold cavity and is allowed to harden at least partially. Thereafter a piston having a face contiguous with an inside surface of the cavity is retracted away from the hardened mass in a bore formed in one of the mold halves. The mold is then opened and a gas is fed into the bore at a location between the retracted piston and the mass so as to pneumatically eject the hardened mass from the mold. The piston is formed with a plurality of circumferential grooves adjacent its face, these grooves filling with synthetic-resin material during use so as to form a seal around the piston. A pair of orifices open into the bore of this piston; one of the orifices is connected the source of pressurized gas, the other is connected to a passage opening into the atmosphere. The piston is formed with a lateral groove constituting a chamber into which both of the orifices open when the piston is in the advanced or molding position so that gas does not leak into the mold cavity of the piston, but is exhausted to the atmosphere.
