    • A light-emitting diode (LED) string is provided. The LED string includes a power plug configured for connecting with a power source to power the LED string; one or more LED sockets configured for electrically connecting with the power plug; one or more LEDs configured for being installed on and electrically connecting with the LED sockets; and a control module configured for being electrically connected with anyone of the LED sockets.     • A power control circuit includes an electronic switch (20) interposed between a power unit (10) and an electronic device (30), a driving circuit (40) and a mechanical switch (50). The driving circuit receives a power-on signal from the mechanical switch, and signals the electronic switch to turn on and supply power to the electronic device in accordance with the power-on signal. The electronic device controls the driving circuit to maintain the electronic switch to be on and continue the power supply to the electronic device. The electronic device further receives a power-off signal from the mechanical switch, and signals the driving circuit to turn off the electronic switch and discontinues the power supply to the electronic device.

    • A touch sensing apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes a flip-flop (15), a sensor (13), an AC signal (14), and a detector (16). The AC signal supplies AC signals to the flip-flop. The flip-flop outputs a first output signal at the output of flip-flop when the sensor is not touched. The sensor receives electricity signals from the object, and causes a delay of the AC signal inputted to the first input of the flip-flop, the delay of the AC signal to be inputted to the first input of the flip-flop further causes the flip-flop to output a second output signal at the output of the flip-flop. The detector detects a change from the first output signal to the second output signal at the output of the flip-flop and accordingly identifies a touch on the sensor.

    • A preferred embodiment of a touch sensing apparatus includes an amplifier, an alternating current (AC) signal source, a sensor, a detector, a first load circuit, and a second load circuit. The alternating current (AC) signal source is for outputting AC signals to a first input and a second input of the amplifier. The sensor is for receiving electricity signals from an object that touches the sensor. The detector is for identifying a touch on the sensor according to output of the amplifier. The sensor and the first load circuit and the second load circuit, enable the amplifier has a common mode (CM) input when the sensor is not touched by the object. The sensor receives electricity signals from the object and enables the amplifier has a differential mode input. The amplifier amplifies a difference between the first input and the second input thereof and outputting the amplified difference to the detector.

    • The present invention provides a charging mode control circuit and method. By utilizing such charging mode control circuit and method, a secondary battery fixed in a portable device can be quickly charged when the portable device communicate with an external computer. The method includes the steps of:a) providing a commutator, the commutator comprising an AC/DC adapter, a first interface, and a second interface, wherein the first interface is connected to the external computer and the second interface is connected to the portable device; b) comparing a charging voltage with a reference voltage, thereby producing a high voltage level signal according to a comparison result, wherein the charging voltage come from the AC/DC adapter; and c) selecting a fast-charging mode on the secondary battery according to the high voltage level signal.
