    • Disclosed is a method for preparing an iodinated aromatic compound. More specifically, disclosed is a method of preparing an iodinated aromatic compound by iodinating an aromatic compound in the presence of oxygen over a zeolite catalyst, in which the aromatic compound and a monoiodo analog of the aromatic compound, or a monoiodo aromatic compound, as raw materials, are allowed to react with iodine. In comparison with a method in which only the aromatic compound is used as a raw material without adding the monoiodo compound, the disclosed method can increase the productivity of diiodo compounds and the selectivity to a p-diiodo compound and, at the same time, suppress side reactions, thus lengthening the life span of the catalyst.

    • A multi-band antenna apparatus of a portable terminal increases multi-band support and space utility by installing a broadcasting antenna in an installation space of a mobile communication antenna. The multi-band antenna apparatus includes a carrier engaging with a main circuit board of the portable terminal. A first antenna emitter is provided at one side of the carrier. A whip antenna including an outer sleeve is provided inside the carrier. A second antenna emitter electrically connected to an extension line is integrally extended from a first antenna emitter and an outer sleeve of a whip antenna. A first power supply line electrically connecting a first power supply pad is provided at the main circuit board to the first antenna emitter. And a second power supply line electrically connecting the outer sleeve of the whip antenna to a second power supply pad is provided at the main circuit board.

    • The dual radiating type inner antenna includes a Printed Circuit Board (PCB), a first radiation plate disposed at an upper part of the PCB, a power supply unit connecting the PCB and the first radiation plate to supply a current to the first radiation plate, a power supply pad, a floating patch, and a second radiation plate. Current supplied to the power supply pad is radiated as first electromagnetic waves through the first radiation plate after passing through the power supply unit; and is radiated as second electromagnetic waves through the second radiation plate after being coupled through the slot of the floating patch to the power supply pad. Therefore, the inner antenna simultaneously radiates electromagnetic waves of different frequency bands, so that a usable frequency bandwidth can be expanded and the gain of the antenna can be increased. Accordingly, the inner antenna can maintain a stable antenna performance by solving a deterioration problem caused by a frequency shift due to an effect of a human body.
