摘要： Embodiments may disclose a safety system for controlling an operation of a machine operated by an operator wearing an article of luminescent clothing, the system including a luminescent sensor configured to emit ultraviolet light toward a target area, and configured to detect light emitted by the article of luminescent clothing; a motor configured to drive a component of the machine; and a controller configured to control the motor and the luminescent sensor, wherein if the luminescent sensor detects the light emitted by the article of luminescent clothing within the target area, the controller controls the motor to stop driving the component of the machine.
