    • A machine tool with a tool holder which is equipped to mount a tool, such as a chiseling tool, moveably along a movement axis. A striking mechanism contains a primary drive, arranged around the movement axis, containing at least one magnetic coil. The striking mechanism has a striker and an anvil arranged within the magnetic coil on the movement axis in sequence in the impact direction.
