The at least one surgical tool member may include a cutting assembly, an aortic hole punch assembly, a lasing assembly, a coring assembly, or a vascular suturing assembly.

摘要： A surgical instrument for anastomosis of first and second blood vessels is provided having a handle and a body portion extending distally from the handle. A fastener support is mounted adjacent a distal end portion of the body portion. A plurality of surgical fasteners are releasably supported by the fastener support at the distal end thereof. The surgical fasteners each have a leg with an atraumatic tip. A fastener camming member is mounted adjacent the fastener support. The fastener camming member and fastener support are relatively slidable in response to actuation of the handle to simultaneously deform the surgical fasteners to secure the first and second vessels without piercing the vessels.

摘要： A method for percutaneous dissection of a segment of vascular tissue from a patient is provided which includes providing an elongated tubular member having a proximal end and a distal end, and blunt dissection structure positioned adjacent the distal end of the tubular member and remotely actuable from adjacent the proximal end of the tubular member. The method further provides for percutaneously accessing a first end portion of the vascular tissue segment, the blunt dissection structure is positioned adjacent the vascular tissue segment and is actuated to bluntly dissect the vascular tissue segment from surrounding body tissue.

A collet is mounted adjacent a distal end portion of the body portion and defines a passage therethrough for the reception of an end of a first blood vessel. 摘要： Surgical instrumentation and methods for performing a bypass procedure in a digestive system incorporate laparoscopic techniques to minimize surgical trauma to the patient. The instrumentation includes, an outer guide member dimensioned for insertion and passage through an esophagus of a patient and defining an opening therein extending at least along a portion of the length of the outer guide member, an elongate anvil delivery member at least partially disposed within the opening of the outer guide member and being adapted for longitudinal movement within the outer guide member between an initial position and an actuated position and an anvil operatively engageable with the delivery member. The anvil includes an anvil rod defining a longitudinal axis and an anvil head connected to the anvil rod. The anvil head is at least partially disposed within the opening of the outer guide member when in the initial position of the delivery member and is fully exposed from the distal end of the outer guide member upon movement of the delivery member to the actuated position.

摘要： A surgical dilator extractor is introduced into the abdominal cavity through a trocar cannula and expanded, forming a tissue receiving space, at the distal end. The tissue that is to be extracted is then suctioned to the dilator. The tissue is then removed from the cavity by the surgeon applying a force onto the dilator extractor that insures the elongation of the tissue and temporarily dilates the entry wound to the extent necessary for the tissue to be removed. Alternative embodiments of the surgical dilator extractor and related instrument tool sets and methods for the use thereof also are disclosed.
