    • A chute magazine for storing and supplying modular propelling charges. A magazine floor is aligned in a direction in which the propelling charges are to be supplied and has a frontal end region formed as a collecting trough. A plurality of parallel chute walls are arranged at a right angle to the magazine floor and define a plurality of vertical chutes for the storage of superposed stacked rows of propelling charge modules. The chute walls have lower ends adjacent to and separated from the magazine floor to define a passage between the magazine floor and the adjacent ends and at right angles to the chute walls for supplying the propelling charge modules in a direction transversely to the chute walls into the trough. An automatically driven pusher is disposed in the passage above the magazine floor for pushing propelling charge modules disposed in the passage into the trough.

    • A loading device for loading a propelling charge into a chamber of a gun barrel having a breech ring, wherein a loading trough is disposed behind the breech ring with the chamber beginning at the rear of the breech ring and the gun barrel has a bore axis. A transfer arm is mouonted for pivotal movement in a direction about an elevation axis of the gun barrel. A pivoting device is connected to the transfer arm and the loading tray for pivoting the loading tray between the first and second positions. A transporting device is operatively connected with the loading tray for transporting a propelling charge disposed on the loading tray when the loading tray is the third position into the chamber of the gun barrel.

    • A device for transferring ammunition from a magazine to a transfer arm of an adjustable weapon rotatable about a trunnion. The transfer arm is movable together with the weapon and tilts up to a maximum predetermined angle (.beta.') during azimuth adjustment of the weapon. Two angle compensating elements are rotatable relative to one another about a common axis in planes that are inclined by half the predetermined angle (.beta.'/2) and are operatively disposed adjacent the magazine. A planar turntable is rotatably mounted on the two angle compensating elements for rotation relative thereto about the common axis. The plane of the planar turntable is adjusted by the two angle compensating elements. An ammunition receiving and pivoting device is supported on the turntable for receiving ammunition from the magazine and pivoting the ammunition so that the ammunition can be received by the transfer arm of the weapon.

    • A removal tool for propelling charge modules stored in a charge magazine one behind the other and having a hollow ignition channel, which tool facilitates both the rapid manual removal of the charge modules from the magazine, and the loading of the charge modules, in desired portions to the charge chamber of a gun barrel to maintain emergency operations. The removal tool includes a holding rod for insertion into the hollow ignition channel of a desired number of the charge modules, a depth abutment disposed on the holding rod and axially adjustable to different propelling charge set lengths, and a clamping device which is activated by an actuating handle. When the actuating handle is operated, leaf springs disposed on the holding rod are spread open by an actuating plunger disposed within the holding rod. The leaf springs thus rest against the hollow ignition channel of the last loaded or picked-up charge module so that all of the charge modules picked up by and disposed on the holding rod are clamped together against a radial abutment face of the depth abutment. Thus, it is possible to quickly and easily take sets of propelling charge modulus of different lengths manually from a propelling charge magazine and supply same to the charge chamber of a gun.
