摘要： A connector (10) is connected to the front end of a cable (11) in a compact connection that provides electrical shielding and a water-tight seal. The connector has a metal main sleeve (30) with a rear end (64) having circular crimps (38,39). One crimp (39) is made against the cable insulator (16) to provide a water-tight seal and the other (38) is made to the cable shielding braid (35) to ground the main sleeve. The main sleeve has a front portion with a crimp (37) that crimps against an elastic seal ring (25) lying in a groove (23) in an insulative body (20) that has contact-holding passages (60).

摘要： Apparatus for attaching adhesive-coated bands to damaged portions of photographic films or the like has a suction drum which attracts the leader of an adhesive tape and cooperates with a heated wire to sever the leader and to thus form a succession of adhesive-coated bands which are attached to damaged portions of films. The attachment of bands can take place by moving the damaged portion of a film against the drum and/or by moving the drum against the damaged portion of the film. If the film is to be coated at both sides, it is caused to pass between two drums which can be located directly opposite each other or are spaced apart, as considered in the direction of lengthwise movement of the film.

摘要： A manipulator includes a carriage, a base and a longitudinal guide for positioning the carriage. The longitudinal guide contains two guide parts attached to the base to provide a sliding mount for the carriage along an axis. A spindle is coupled to the carriage for moving it longitudinally and is provided with a rotating mount on the base. The manipulator also includes two wedge arrangements between the side parts of the base and the guide parts of the guide to center the carriage and prestress the guide parts in the direction of the axis. Each wedge arrangement comprises two cooperating slant faces one of which is an inner face of each side part of the base and the other of which belongs to a wedge which is moved with respect to the respective guide part for centering the same relative to the spindle. After completion of the centering operation the guide parts will be secured to the base, e.g. by screws.

摘要： In a method for robot-controlled cutting of workpieces to be joined by laser radiation, a first workpiece is arranged in vicinity of a second workpiece in a first position. A laser is focused onto the first workpiece. A contour of the first workpiece is cut with the laser beam; this contour is to be assembled and joined with the second workpiece. During cutting, a first spacing of a focal point of the laser beam from the second workpiece is repeatedly determined in a distance direction that is identically oriented during cutting and is adjusted to a direction of assembling the first and second workpieces. During cutting, a second spacing of a processing point of the laser beam from the second workpiece is maintained at a constant value.
