    • A headset device includes a component to monitor a predetermined proximity of the headset device. The predetermined proximity includes an area where a user of the headset is positioned during operation of the headset. The headset device includes a processor to execute instructions to monitor the predetermined proximity of the headset. The processor is also to determine whether a detectable object is within the predetermined proximity of the headset based on a characteristic property of the detectable object. The characteristic property of the detectable object is one of a black body emitting property or a conducting property. Additionally, the processor is to place the headset into an active state when it is determined that the detectable object is within the predetermined proximity, and place the headset into a standby state when it is determined that the detectable object is not within the predetermined proximity.

    • A method for operating a touch sensitive user interface is provided. The touch sensitive user interface comprises a touch sensitive surface (3) and at least two force sensitive sensors (15-66). The touch sensitive surface (3) is configured to provide a touch information indicating touch positions (6, 8) of at least two concurrent touches (5, 7) on the touch sensitive surface (3). The at least two force sensitive sensors (15- 66) are mounted at the touch sensitive surface (3) at different predetermined locations (11-14). Each of the at least two force sensitive sensors (15-66) is configured to generate a corresponding force information depending on a force being exerted on the corresponding force sensitive sensor (15-66). According to the method, the touch positions (6, 8) are determined based on the touch information and the force information is received from the at least two force sensitive sensors (15-66). Based on the at least two touch positions (6, 8), the force information from the force sensitive sensors (15-66) and the predetermined locations (11-14) of the force sensitive sensors (15-66) a corresponding touch force is determined for each of the concurrent touches (5, 7).

    • A mobile communication device and a method for three-dimensional sensing of objects in a spatial volume above a display of the mobile communication device. The mobile communication device comprises input means having at least two sensors configured for collecting data about objects in said spatial volume and a processing logic for processing spatial object data. The method comprises and the mobile communication device in configured to perform the following steps; receiving an detection signal from at least one of the sensors indicating that an object is present above the display; determining the distance to the detected object; looking up weight parameters associated with each sensor in a look up table, said weight parameters being dependable on the determined distance; collecting data about the detected object from each sensor; and calculating the position of the detected object by using the collected data together with the looked up weight parameters.

    • An electronic apparatus includes a display panel connected to a body and able to occupy a first and second position with respect to the body, and an input panel connected to the body and able to occupy a first and second position with respect to the body. When the display panel and the input panel both occupy their respective first position, the input panel hides part of the display panel.
