    • Disclosed herein is a gas control apparatus for a boiler, which has a simple structure and enables easy assembly, thus improving productivity and reducing manufacturing costs, therefore enhancing the competitiveness of a product. The gas control apparatus includes a solenoid retracting or ejecting a rod in response to application of power. A cylindrical support unit is coupled to an upper portion of the solenoid and has a suction port and an exhaust port on a side surface and an upper surface thereof, respectively, with a groove being formed along a lower edge of the support unit. A separator is provided between the solenoid and the support unit in such a way that an edge thereof is inserted into the groove. An opening and shutting plate is mounted to an upper end of the rod and opens and shuts the exhaust port of the support unit.

    • A gas control unit for a boiler is provided which can satisfactorily control the supply and shut-off of gas. The gas control unit for a boiler includes: a hollow housing; a solenoid that is disposed in the housing; a rod that is inserted into the solenoid and that has a lower part protruding from the housing; opening and shutting means that is disposed at the lower end of the rod so as to open and shut a gas outlet; and a spring that is disposed between the housing and the opening and shutting means so as to elastically urge the opening and shutting means downward. Here, a coupling member is formed at the lower end of the rod and a coupling groove into which the coupling member is inserted is formed in the opening and shutting means so as to allow the opening and shutting means to move. Accordingly, since the opening and shutting means is coupled to the rod through the use of the coupling member and the coupling groove, the opening and shutting means can move within a predetermined range about the coupling member with an application of an external force. Therefore, even when the opening and shutting means and the gas outlet depart in center from each other, it is possible to shut the gas outlet, thereby satisfactorily controlling the supply and shut-off of gas.
