    • A light emission device, which can enhance degree of vacuum in a vacuum vessel by increasing an adsorption efficiency of a getter, and a display device using the light emission device for a light source are provided. The light emission device includes a vacuum vessel having first and second substrates facing each other with a predetermined distance therebetween, and a sealing member disposed between the first and second substrates and enclosing an inner space formed between the first and the second substrates. An electron emission unit is located on one side of the first substrate and having a plurality of electron emission regions. A light emission unit is located on one side of the second substrate and having an anode electrode and a phosphor layer. A getter layer is disposed on an inner surface of the sealing member that faces an inner space of the vacuum vessel.

    • A vacuum vessel includes first and second substrates facing each other with a predetermined distance therebetween, a sealing member placed at peripheries of the first and second substrates to seal the first and second substrates to each other, and a getter provided between the first and second substrates. The getter has an active metal, a getter receptacle for containing the active metal, and a support for holding the getter receptacle between the first and second substrates. The getter receptacle is spaced substantially equidistance from the first and second substrates. A diffusion intercepting plate is formed at an end of the support directed toward the center of the first and second substrates in a body of the vacuum vessel.

    • A tension mask frame assembly of a color CRT includes a tension mask in which a plurality of electron beam passing holes are formed and a frame. The frame includes a pair of first and second support members separated a predetermined distance from each other and supporting the tension mask so that a tensile force is applied to the tension mask. First and second elastic members are installed between both end portions of each of the first and second support members, supporting the first and second support members to be separated a predetermined distance from each other to compensate for an amount of thermal expansion of the tension mask, and having inclined portions inclined at a predetermined angle. Bars connect the first and second support members and are made of a material having a thermal expansion coefficient smaller than that of the first and second elastic members.
